*Luke's POV*

I was at the bus loop looking for Katie and then, I spotted her. I ran to catch up to her and tapped her shoulder.

"Heeeeey Katie!" I said. She jumped at my touch. "H-hey Luke!" she eventually smiles. She looks away and widens her eyes.

"Is everything alright, love?" I ask putting my hand on her shoulder.

*Katie's POV*

"Is everything alright love?" he touched my shoulder and I almost melted. His hands were big and warm. I looked up at him.

"What? Oh. Y-yeah I-I'm oka-ay." I forced out. Why am I so nervous? He's gay. And taken. So I have a zero of zero chance with him.

"KATIE!" he screamed in my face. "You're about to miss your bus!" he chuckled. He looks so cute with his hair down.

"Oh yeah, thanks." I awkwardly smiled. "I like your hair like that by the way!" I said as I ran to my bus. I hopped on it with the thought of Luke's smile.

"I need to regain my confidence being around Luke. Ever since I found I had feelings for him I've been a withering mess when he's around. What I need to do is find a way to either get over him or... get him to like me." I thought to myself as people tried to ask me why I have been on the bus.

I'm snapped out of my thoughts when I hear a loud honking and an angry bus driver screaming at me to get off.

I walk down the steps and wave the bus goodbye. I approach my front door and unlock it. When I walk in, I see Ado and Calum. As usual, making out. She's straddling his lap, hands in his hair. Her eyes look very red and puffy. It's probably an allergy or something. Calum's hands roaming all over her lower body. I could see Luke and I doing that more than him and Ashton. But it's what he wants, not me. There's just so much lust and passion and, just plain want in their relationship. I could get a lot of guys, I know. But I only want Luke. Tall, sweet, gay Luke.

"How'd you guys get here before me?" I asked. Instead of them separating and telling me, they continued. "Hey! I'm talking to you Adilade!"

She lifted up her head a little but away from Calum. "Mom and Dad" she said in between kisses, "got us." she deepened her and Calum's make out afterward.

"Mom and Dad?" I muttered. They're never home at this time.

I walk toward the stairs quickly while listening to Calum moan in the background. "Get a room." I say to myself.

I run into my parents room to see them talking. They're very far apart and my mother is packing her things. I tap on the door lightly so they acknowledge me.

"Hello sweety. Long time no see." my father wraps me into a tight hug. I awkwardly hug him back. They both look like they've been crying. So did Adi.

"Hi daddy." I decide to give him the time of day since I don't know how bad he may feel. He releases me and my mother walks up to me. She squeezes me extremely tight. "Hi mum."

Her mascara is running a little and her eyes are worse than my fathers.

"Are you guys okay? It seems like everyone in my family has been sobbing except me!" I laugh, attempting to loosen the tension. Though it doesn't work.

"Katie, hun. Come and sit down." they take a seat on their bed. I shrug and plop down on it next to them. I'm not worried about what they'll say. It's probably just another one month business trip announcement that I'm used to.
