"WAKE UP GUYS!!!" Luke was jumping around on the bed with Calum, in a hurry to get us up.

"What the fuck?" Michael moaned and rolled on top of me. "Oh... sorry babe." I laughed and got up.

"DAAAYYYUM!" they all exclaimed. I turned around with a look. As if saying "What the fuck is wrong with you guys?". But then, I realized I was still naked from the night before.

"Shit Michael why didn't you say anything!" I slipped on one of his shirts that was laying in the corner and some underwear.

"Sorry baby! I just can't get over your perfection." he smirked. I rolled my eyes. "Well you sure got enough a' that last night." I muttered to myself, walking down the stairs.

"Good morning Ka- KAREN!" I screamed running over to her. She was laying on the floor.

"MICHAEL GET DOWN HERE!!" I sobbed. There was no blood. No wounds. Nothing. She must've had a stroke or heart attack or something.

"What? Is everything oka- MOM!" he ran over to her almost faster than I did. He began crying as well as he looked her up and down.

"Wh-what do we do Adi? I- I don't know." he cried on my shoulder. I patted his head as I called Luke down. He knew the most CPR so I thought maybe it'd work.

He got down there as Michael and I continued crying. Calum smartly pulled out his phone and dialed 911. Luke tried every CPR method he knew. Nothing worked.

When the ambulance arrived, they wheeled her into the back of it. They invited Michael to ride along with her.

"Can I go with him? Please?" I begged. Tears still brimming my eyes. The man shook his head no and tried to force Mike in the vehicle.

"No! No! I'm not getting in this thing without her!" he screamed in the mans face, salty droplets of water staining his face. The man finally nodded and grabbed me, pulling me in.

Michael laid across my lap. This is the most and hardest I've ever seen him cry. I patted his head softly and sang a song to him. One of his favorites.

"Exit light.

Enter night.

Take my hand.

Off to never never land."

My tone was hushed and I was as gentile as I'd ever been. His crying had settled as I hummed the rest of the song. We pulled into the E.R. parking lot and loaded out of the vehicle.

Michael refused to get out of my grip, but I didn't mind. This was the time I felt like he really needed me. More than anyone.

We told Luke and Calum to go home and that we'd keep them updated. For some reason Michael just wanted me with him right now.

We sat in the waiting room for 5 hours. Filled with games of I Spy and 20 questions. We talked over what was gonna happen if she passes. We'd take over the house, let Luke and Calum move in if they wanted. And have Ashton and Harry over. I know it seems wrong to even think about it but, we need to have some sort of plan.

A nurse came out with a clipboard in his hand.

"Um, Clifford?" Michael sprung up and dragged me along with him. "Yes sir? That's me- um, us." he pulled me closer.

"Can we see you both for a moment?" she gave us a look of concern. I was afraid I knew what was coming but, Michael seemed clueless.

We sat at a cluttered desk with stacks of papers and medical work.

"Okay..." she said, clicking around in her computer a bit before looking to us.

"Your mum, I'm assuming, has had a heart attack. We aren't sure how bad it was but," Michael's grip on my hand was almost too tight.

"But all we know is that she isn't going to make it. I'm so so sorry." she sniffled. "I'll leave you here for a moment."

His cheeks were still stained. Hands still entangled with his sweater sleeves. But no tears. Just staring off into space. Speechless.

"Michael. E-everything's gonna be okay. I'll get a job, we can live there, it's okay." his tears erupted again. "It's okay." I whispered into his neck as he pulled me into a tight hug.

"I- I knew she had medical problems b-but I didn't think this would happen." he sobbed.

"And it's for the best. It'd be better for her if she lived in heaven in peace than on earth and in pain. Though it may be hard for us."

He nodded against my shoulder and stood up, pulling me with him. I pulled out my phone, calling a taxi.

"Who's house should we go to tonight? We can invite Cal and Luke over to mine. No one's there for a few days." I patted his lower back and wrapped my arm around him. He nodded as the taxi pulled up to us. Quick.

We hopped inside and he leaned against me and I did the same.

"Where to?" said the man- boy driving the car. He had long, brown, curly hair. Gorgeous green eyes and tan skin. He had a think British accent and a name tag that read "Harry"- HARRY.

"Harry?! A-are you Ashton's Harry?!" I exclaimed, leaning forward to look t him full on. I could see why ashton liked him so much.

His laugh deep, "Yep. That's me. Are you Katie?" I immediately frowned. "Actually no. That would be my bitch of a sister. I'm Adilade? Adi? Ever heard it?"

"Ah yes. I guess you talk to Ashton quite frequently. He's always talking about a conversation you've had. Nice to meet you." I smiled as I sat back down.

"You too." he turned around and looked to Michael. "Ah the gracious Michael! He said Michael was the one with the weird hair." Harry giggled motioning to Michaels reversed-skunk hair. He just smiled and looked out the window. Harry understood and faced forward. I gave him my address and he drove off.
