heyyy!! guys, I'm so sorry I don't update like, ever. it'd probably be best if you just finished reading it when it's completed?? unless you have the patience to deal with this shit lol

"How are we gonna get there?" I asked Calum as I slipped on shoes, his Nasa shirt and a jacket.

"I guess we're gonna have to walk?" he said. "No no. Bus routes start at 12.00 A.M.. What time is it now?" Calum checked his phone. "It's 12:14. Do you wanna risk the bus at this time? I heard its kinda sketchy."

"We'll be fine! And we have to go see Luke. What choice do we have?"

We crept out the large front door quietly and locked it. As we were making our way to the bus station, someone grabbed me from behind. Calum tried to get me out of the tight grip I was in, but soon stopped.

"Calum what the-" a stubby-fingered hand covered my mouth. "Adi, it's just Michael. Calm down." he stroked my hair as Michael let me go.

"What the hell Michael! You scared the living shit outta me!" I whispered violently. "Luke sent me to get you guys since he knew you wouldn't be able to get a safe ride. C'mon." he lead us to his car.

We got in and drove I'm silence for a while. "Why did you come and get us?" Calum asked.

"Well, Ashton isn't talking to him, he can't drive in his condition, we all know Liz isn't gonna go, and his brothers aren't home. Besides it concerns me too somehow." he said.

"Is he that bad? What the hell could've happened?" Calum said, putting his hand on the small of my back.

"I don't fucking know!" Michael almost screamed but remembered everyone was sleeping. "Now let's go before anything gets worse."

-

We arrived at Luke's and his bedroom light was the only light on. The window was open, we assumed for us.

"How're we gonna get up there?" I asked as Michael pulled a ladder out from the side of the house. "This is how." he rolled his eyes in annoyance. Calum saw the look on my face and pulled my closer as I smiled up at him.

We were all on the roof before we climbed into his room, where we heard "R U Mine?" playing and muffled screams in the corner.

"Luke what the fuck!" Calum ran over to him and hugged him. I didn't think they were that close.

I couldn't move. Luke was in terrible condition. His eyes were bloodshot, there was spit or something coming out the corners of his mouth. He was sobbing. More like bawling extremely hard. He had his mouth in a pillow and was screaming as loud as he could.

"Okay Luke, please. Sober up for a second and tell us what's wrong." Michael said.

"S-sober up?" I asked. "Yeah. He, uh, he found his moms liquor stash." he motioned to the trash can in by the door. I noticed at least three bottles of alcohol in there, broken.

I covered my mouth with my hands."L-Luke. Oh my god." I went over there and say by him.

He took his face out of the pillow for a minute. He looked like the saddest puppy I had ever seen. Like his meant to be owned chose some other dog.

"You're sisters a bitch." he chuckled, wiping his eyes. I smiled at him with sorrow. "Can you please tell us what happened?"

He sat upright and put the pillow next to him.

"Basically, I made out with Katie. I thought that since I'm gay and love Ashton to pieces that it'd be okay. And I also thought that she was just looking for someone else to make out with. Turns out, she was actually in love with me." he sniffled.

"So I had to talk to her about it. And when I did, she was pissed."

"Why was she pissed?" Calum asked.

"She was pissed because I still loved Ashton even though I agreed to that and didn't love her. What the fuck do you want me to do, change my sexuality?!" he threw his hands in the air.

"Anyway, she was so angry that she called Ashton. She told him that I was the one who initiated making out with her because he wasn't good enough." as his tears returned, his head fell into my lap as I stroked his hair.

"He told me th-that he ha-hated me and and he-he never wanted to see me again." he sobbed. Calum Michael and I just looked at each other in silence as his sobs filled the room. Luke soon sat up and dried his tears.

"Ashton's moving to a different city, possibly a different state with some kid named Harry. Styles I think the last name is." Luke ruffled his hair. "He's not gay but, god knows Ash could turn him in a heartbeat if he wanted."

"Luke, I'm so sorry. I didn't think that Katie could be this kind of Satin in any way! That's the worst thing she's ever done and I promise that bitch is getting her ass kicked. You don't deserve any of that shit."

I rested my hand on Luke's broad shoulder. "You really think I don't. I did cause some if it by agreeing but I don't know what I was thinking at the time. Really. Thank you for being here for me when Katie, the girl I thought was my real best friend, wasn't." He leaned over and hugged me. It was a long hug, but a nice one.

Luke and I both stood up and he plopped down next to Michael.

"Listen man, I'm so so so sorry about this huge mess. I completely, well sorta, forgot about you at the moment and it slipped my mind that I'd be hurting you too." he rested a hand on Mike's shoulder.

"It's alright mate, trust me. And besides, who needs Katie when you have her hot ass sister." he licked his lips and raised his eyebrow at me.

"Oh fuck off Clifford." I backed up to Calum and he wrapped his arms around me.

"I kid, I kid. You and Cal-Pal over there can continue your cutesy, innocent relationship." he waved his hands in the air sarcastically and scoffed. I decided not to reply, remembering Cal and I still needed a ride home.

"Are you sure you don't need someone to stay here with you man?" Calum asked Luke and we shifted back to the window.

"Nah I'm good. Thank you so much though, for coming at this time. It means a lot." he scratched his neck and looked down.

"Any time." we all said in unison and hopped out the window.
