Park jimin gritted his teeth, taking in a slow breath as the anger he felt threaten to overpower him, sweeping away with unrival savagery everything standing on his way beginning by the pathetic excuse for family he had. He clenched his palms into fists, knuckles turning white and claws digging in the tender flesh of his inner hands while he swallowed back the furious urge to scream. If the scumbags thought they'd take away from him what's rightfully his, well joke's on them because he'd slit theirs throats before surrendering. Images of carnage and gore flashed before his eyes, he inhaled sharply practically smelling the iron scent of blood and a small cruel grin stretched out across his angelic face.

His footsteps echoed with determination on the marbled floor as he walked down the long and silent corridor of the glassy building that towered over the city bathed in sunlight before he stopped before a door. The young man took a deep breath, adjusting his crimson red tie which matched perfectly with his black suit. His hand reached out to the handle, turning it pushing open the door and stepping inside.

All heads swiveled when he walked into the room and a heavy silence settled in. He noted without surprise that everyone had made the journey to attend, grim expressions scattered around the vast meeting table stared back at him. He scowled, crossing the room to take place at the end of the table. He didn't acknowledge them and none of them dared say
anything, theirs eyes glittering with badly concealed greed and envy.

Park Seojoon, supreme leader of the Park's clan had just died after six decades at the head of the clan and his passing left the balance of power within the clan unbalanced.

For centuries, the Park Clan had been one of the most revered, powerful werewolves clans in the world. Their influence was unmatched as they're one of the last bloodline still preserving the purity of theirs line. Over the decades they'd accumulated considerable wealth and rule, unrivaled amongst others clans.

To understand the origin of werewolves and indirectly that of the Park because both were indissoluble we needed to wind back very far in the past, approximatively two thousand years ago. Humans was on the brink of extinctiin, ravaged by diseases when the first werewolf appeared. The circumstances are still very unclear and rare are those who know exactly how it happened but it's enough. Quickly they expanded, growing exponentially and wars for dominance caused the werewolves to be divided into factions or clans. By dint of fighting for territories and the best resources, their clan acquired a reputation as valiant warriors and this lasted for millenias until recently though.

It's far from truth that the prestige attached to theirs name had declined but it'd known setbacks mainly due by the divisions that had resurfaced within the main family itself. During his lifetime Seojoon had been able to strive to bridge the rift that moults squabble had dug between his brothers and sisters and him but his death had swept away all his effort with the back of a hand and the rift seemed more impassable than ever especially between his uncles and him.

Because that's the crux of the problem, tje reason behind all the conflits that tore apart Seojoon and the members of his family. They all revolted against his choice for the next leader of the Park Clan. Led in that by Seojoon's sister they threatened to revolt and overturn the balance of power.

The one they're so against was none other than than him, the late's leader own grandson. He had trained all his life for this day and he'd rather die than let his decrepits aunts and uncle, vestige of an ancient period try to take away from him what was rightfully his.

Killing to preserve what's his didn't frighten him far from it, a thrill of anticipation thrummed inside him. Even though he's born as an omega he's unlike any of them which made him even more suspicious and hated. Forget everything you thought to know about alpha/omegas dynamics. Park jimin was indeed an omega but he's more ruthless, cunning and frightenly bloodthirsty than a shark. He didn't have a fiber of submission in his body, trained he'd ensure painful death to all his foes.

Trying to understand Seojoon's reasoning for chosing an omega as the next leader of one of the most powerful clan unafraid to go against everyone's opinion in the matter would have been useless as the dead alpha had simply been guided by love.

He once had a daughter, she's everything he'd left of the omega he'd loved more than life itself. She's the apple of his eyes, his air. Her smile's enough to lift his mood and make all his worries vanish and he didn't doubt that if she were to die something within him would die with her. Sadly enough she'd a very weak constitution, specialists he consulted told him it'd be a miracle if she were to live a long life. He'd been devasted but not Saejin's because if her body
was weak it wasn't the case for her mind. She's beautiful and smart, a combination that if she had been healthy would've made her a respected alpha and leader. She grew up surrounded by love. He never hid it from her that her chances to survive were low but she wasn't overly worried. She knew she didn't have much more times left and if she couldn't be the alpha her clan needed, she'd give birth to him.

What happened next couldn't have been avoid even if he'd locked her up in a tower. She'd as stubborn as ever Park and never surrender. He didn't stand a chance. against the advices of the doctors she fell in love and decided to have a child who will later become the clan's next leader as she would have if circumstances had been differents. Supervised she carried the baby to terms but died in delivery, content.

Once again devastated at a loss of a loved one Park Seojoon looked down at the baby Saejin died for as the nurses cleaned him up and wrapped him in fresh linens, setting him down in a crib next to the bed were his daughter would never open her eyes to watch her child when he noticed something.

The newborn wasn't an alpha but an omega.

Yet he promised that omega or not his unique daughter's death wouldn't be in vain and the child will become the next clan's leader.

And he kept his promise, training the kid as soon as he's four. He stood still
before his brothers and sisters as they called him crazy for wanting to make a king out of a mere omega. He bribed, threatened, killed anyone and everyone, invested astronomical sums of money in controversial researchs to develop methods all that for Saejin's dream and never once regretted it.

But the one who suffered the most through it was indubitably his grandson. He never showed him tremonduous love, scared that it'd make him grow weak and complacent instead was more ruthless, merciless to him than to anyone else and it worked. He hardened, became vicious and stronger than anyone else.

Saejin's legacy that'll survive him. He couldnt have been prouder.
