Kibum never won against him when they're kids and used to train together but it didn't stop him from thinking he was superior simply because he wan born an alpha. Ingrained stupidy was impossible to get over.
You just have to nip ut in the bud.
Wielding a sword he cut through the small crowd formed by his supporters. Emboldened by all theirs vain encouragement and his grandmother's delusions he was the future of the Park.
Ridiculous.
The sword was an antic thing with a curved blade that gleamed under the moonlight, attached to a handle of brown leather. Jimin scoffed as Kibum twirled it above his head in a way he thought was experimented but just made him look stupid.
He scoffed. No way this toy will inflict him the slightest wound. He glanced over his shoulder catching the looks on the other Park's eyes. Some were still wary but most of them seemed certain that Kibum would come out of this duel victorious and will be their new leader.
An expression of thriumph curled up at her lips, his aunt murmured inside his ear.
"Surrender now and you can leave."
He recalled the old man's words and chukled, nodding his head.
"My my are you worried for me or for Kibum?" His eyes sparkling with mischief. She studied him as if to see if he was mocking her and her gaze hardened.
"She tutted. "Still so brazen. My boy is going to kill you and even if I don't like you, you are still Seojoon's grandson. I'd hate for his legacy to completely vanish.
His chuckle intensified turning into full laughter.
"Sentimentalism, how tiresome. He sneered. "That's why we're cut different, I will not spare any of you." He affirmed, theirs eyes locking and she saw he was serious. "I will kill every single members of your family until there's noone left.
Park Hawon felt the first tremolos of fear settled inside her chest like an anvil and even after she left to watch
the beginning of the fight she faile to shake it off.Deadly fights were rare enough within the clan that this one was even more exceptionnal. Kibum lunged toward him first, sword in hand. It made a swishy sound as it cut the air in front of the omega where his cousin tried to hurt him but he's trained and he dodged it easily, sidestepping out of reach and slapping the weapon out of the latter's arms with the flat of his. He sent it falling several feets away from them with a loud click. Folding his leg up he kicked the other to the stomach. his cousin groaned in pain, falling to the ground.
"I will make you pay for that." spat the alpha jumping on his feet.
He leaned forward, a throaty growl escaping his lips as fur covered his hands first then his face, changing its aspect and shape to something less human and more animal then lastly the rest of his body. He feln to the ground on all fours, growling harder, his eyes turned red and shiny and within seconds he'd shifted into a big sized wolf with a brown with speckled of gray robe.
"ah finally. I guess you won't mind if i do it too?" He threw casting a brief
but unsettling look to jungkook over his shoulder. The alpha had stayed despite their heated discussion. He didn't know how he'd react but he wanted to show him so he'd stop being ridiculously protective of him.Under theirs horrified eyes he then shifted 'to a beautiful yet monstrous creature none had ever encountered and frankly speaking wished to never because it's the most unpleasant, traumatic thing in the world. It's a being between werewolves and human. Larger, a gaping maw with teeth that could tear into flesh as easily as a knife could with butter, claws bigger than fingers and blazing eyes.
The silence that followed spread like rivulets on the paisible surface of a lake but did not last long because soon gasp and whimpers of terror erupted, echoeing across the woods.
Kibum's eyes looked like they're about to explode. He quivered, frozen in place. He burst out laughing as the alpha let out a whimper, tail between his legs as he tried to scamper off. He grabbed him before he could go far and lifted him off the ground leveling theirs gazes. The poor thing forgot himself in fear. he barked, whimpering harder as he tried to break free of the steeled grip.
"Is that all you got?" He growled into his face. "To think that not an hour ago you swaggered here to challege me, full of yourself as they called you "the clan's hope." he sneered and his blazing red eyes scanned the crowd finding quickly his aunt's. The old hag was white as a ghost and she's trembling like a leaf.
"The future seems bleak." Eyes fixed on her. "I always kept my promises." he assured, tearing his head off under everyone' eyes. Blood splattered out, painting the ground red. He threw the head and it landed at his aunt's feet as the body dropped at his feet.
He turned to the others, covered in blood.
"Kibum just paid the price for his treason but do not worry he is just the first one." Before she could run away two guards appeared at her sides, handling her and bringing her in front of him. She looked up at him, frightened.
"I told you my aunt and now you will watch me kill everybody you hold dear." he stated as the guards brought the rest of Hawon's family. Her children and grand children. He picked up Kibum's forgotten sword. The dead man wouldn't have use of it anymore and one by one beheaded Hawon's supporters. In his eyes they're all guilty because they went along with her plans to overthrow and kill him. They're traitors and deserved the punishement but he didn't fool himself. He liked taking his revenge. By the time he's almost done, his aunt was screaming, begging him to spare her offsprings and just finish her off.
"Your legacy seems to be in decline. The omega chuckled.
"Monster!" She cried, the blood of her sons and daughters staining her hands. He scowled, turning to the last
remaining member of Hawon's family; a teen girl. She looked resigned to her fate."I'm not as merciless as you think i'm. he said out of blue. The girl glanced up, hopeful.
He smiled. "Do you want to live?" She nodded.
He knelt down, hand reaching out to take hers.
"Swear me allegiance and then and there turn your back on her becausse even if i'm holding the sword that probably killed your parents, it's actually her fault. She knew the risks and still put you in danger because she's greedy for power and what's mine."
The girl didn't hesiate. He helped her to get up.
"There I took your legacy"
He shifted back to the gorgeous human he's but now people knew what was hiding behind his innocent face and they're scared shitless but also impressed. She saw him coming but didn't move. She'd played and had been thouroughly defeated. He lifted the sword and the blow struck. She died on the spot, her head rolling on the ground. The crowd cheered.
It's only later on that he noticed that the new Park leader noticed that the
younger alpha and his brothers had left.
