Night had fallen outside when he walked out the room, the guard he had just chocked to death still lying on the carpet floor. Jungkook had never killed anyone before. Fought for dominance, hurt a rival enough to prevent him to forget his place again, yes it was alll part of living with others alphas in a pack but killing had never even crossed his mind and yet when he had heard the man talk casually about what that crazy of sohee and her new friend had envisioned for his boyfriend and his brothers it had been too much and he had seen red. The next thing he recalled was his hands closing like a bear trap around the man's neck and
squeezing until his body turned feeble and he fell on the floor with a deaf thud.
He paused on his tracks, swallowikg the lump in his throat and staring down at his hands before shaking his head. he didnt have time for introspection. His niece and jimin were in grave danger. Luckily he knew where the gurads had locked up seokjin and yoongi hyung, shaking his head to clear up his mind he resumed his steps, speeding up.
The full moon was tonight.
He was in luck it seemed because he found no living soul in the hallways as he ran down, climbing up fly of stairs after fly of stairs until he reached the third floor. A neon flickered above his head casting a redish glow on him. From the far end he saw two guards standing before a door and guessed that it was surely where his brothers were.
His breathing slowly evened as he focused on the incoming task, he plastered a smile on his face as he marched down to them.
"Hey!" he said in lieu of greeting. they both shot him a nonplussed gaze, suspicious. he hesitated.
"Huh, the boss wanted you two to check on the heating in her room. she said its too cold in there." he laughed nervously as they exchanged a gaze. The one close to him finally spoke up, his gaze narrowin
"I didnt hear anything from Hyungmin." he let out.
"Oh that's because hyungmin ssi is sick I was called to repmace him." he countered quickly feeling the situation quickly escaping him.
"Something doesnt add up. Hyungmin was fine when I went up less than an hour again." said the second one now openly eyeing him with hostility his hand slowly moving to rest againt his gun.
Jungkook sighed, looking down.
"at least I tried." he murmured. They took a step back grapping theirs guns but not quick enough because the young alpha just pulled his from behind him aiming and shooting. Crimson flowers bloomed on the men's chest as they collapsed, dead.
He searched theirs corpses for the keycard and unlocked the door.
"Hyung?" he called walking inside.
"Jungkook?"
"yes. what are you doing?" he asked to the olde omega who stood a few centimeters from him holding a bedside lamp above his head.
"We heard gunshots. was it you?" asked jin a bewildered look on his face. the older man looked like he hadnt slept in a while. he'd dark circle under his eyes and his hair
was a mess. he wondered how long they were held against their will there.
The gray haired alpha approached after having checked outside. he appraised jungkook and the gun he was still gripping a bit too tightly in his left hand and cracked up a smile.
"Nice shot." jungkook scratched his head red tinting his cheek.
"Let's go." that's when he noticed that someone was missing. He checked around the room before reporting his gaze on the two, taking in theirs lookd and his heart froze in chest.
"where is she?"
Seokjin stared back at him, his eyes burning with hatred.
"They took her but we will find her and i'm tellin you right now to not stand in the way of that girl and me." he said, his voice icy. The younger alpha who had never seen his older brother in such a state refrained from stepping back his non existent tail tucked between his legs. his gaze lingered to yoongi who just shrugged, a proud smile on his lips.
"why?" he asked, apprehending the answer to his question.
"Because I'm the one who is going to kill her." declared jin his voice as cutting as a well sharpened knife. He then walked out not waiting for his little brother to answer. The young alpha wouldnt even had too stunned he was to utter a word, he simply followed.
