He had been too arrogant in his certitude that he could take her forgetting the possibility that she must have had and accomplice lurking around waiting for the right time to intervene.
The omega felt it before seeing it and when he did it was too late.
His whole body went numb as his sight blurred, unfocuse. He stilled as a shiver ran down his spine. the Park leader had never felt so much power at the same time. He fell head first right before the female alpha.
He fought against the darkness threatening to engulf him in the back he heard footstep coming his way and tried to look up at the owner of such energy but before he could he drifted into unconsciousness. His last thoughts being for jungkook and his brothers.
"You are late!" she shouted, annoyed to the man who materialized into the room next to her before staring down at the omega's unconscious body lying at her feet. she kicked him with the tip of her heel, grinning smugly.
"It went smoother than i thought." she stated.
"Of course, i told you he didn't stand a chance against me." said the man. He was gorgeous even though not her type dressed in all black except for the silver cross adorning his tanned neck.
she scoffed.
"If you had been a second late he would have been bathing in my blood."
He smiled. his eyes glued to the omega.
"Luckily for you I wasn't." he clapped back. "you respected your part of the deal I will make sure you get what you want." he said bending forward to carry jimin's body over his shoulder.
she huffed half annoyed and impressed by her ally's demonstration of power.
"wait." she let out holding out a hand.
"what?"
"I'm not certain its a good idea to let him live. we should kill him."
"werewolf dont forget yourself." he cut her off. "he is mine." and to himself he added " I waited too long trapped for this moment and its going to be exactly the way I want."
she refrained from trembling in fear, shrugging weakly.
"Its a shame."
"Dont worry werewolf I'll still help you get that alpha's heart."
and on that after flashing her a full boxy smile he walked out.
The man was obviously hurt, honking he pulled along the curb, killing the engine of his jeep while he jumped out of it to rush to the man forgetting to turn off his headlights. he was crouching down before him taking in the ghastly wound and all
the blood while he fumbled for his phone in his coat's pockets to call the cops and an ambulance when the man opened his eyes and stared right at him while his hand closed around his wrist with a strength he wouldn't have suspected in a man in his state.
"Taehyung...taehyung..." he kept on repeating, delirious as tears poured out of his eyes. He ended up fainting but not without muttering
"I love you."
