It's stifling hot in the old battered car heading to Incheon Airport. Pissed, Jimin resolutely stared out the window, his jaw set and his gaze hardened as he tuned out his friend's constant blabbering.

"It's just for a week. I'll be back before you even notice." Said Taehyung , hands tight around  the wheel and big dark circles under his eyes. He shot his bestfriend a quick look when he got no reply.

The omega heaved out a sigh, turning his head to stare back to him.

"I don't know why you've to leave in the first place."

Taehyung rolled his eyes, killing off the engine and unbuckling his seatbelt to climb out of the vehicle. It's only then he realized they arrived.

He imitated him, standing close to the cardoor as the other strutted behind it to open the trunk and pull out
from it his luggages. He watched him as he kept talking. Taehyung knew that all the latter's ressentment came from his own fear of rejection as jungkook's departure had revealed a huge gaping  crack in the latter's armor and he was struggling to clog it the  best he could. He felt a surge of sympathy for him.

"We talked about this already.' He let out, smiling indulgently as they headed toward the entry doubled doors, his luggage bumping on the concrete ground.

"I know but-"

"Trust me I will come back. You are not getting rid of me anytime soon." He  cut him off resting a hand on his shoulder. He heard him heaved out a sigh and relaxed under his touch. Werewolves were tactile creatures. They love nuzzling against others in a pile whether to fight off the cold
or to imprint. He smiled.

He left him to book his flight and came back to find him sitting down at a table, his legs crossed elegantly before him. He sat across from him. Above theirs heads a voice flowed out of the speakers.

"The passengers for the flight 1307, please get ready to board."

"I think its mine." he announced, jimin nodded.

He stood up.

"I'll call you." he promised a huge grin on his face. "Don't kill anybody while i'm away."

"I'm not promising that" deadpanned jimin.

He slipped on a pair of sunglasses, watching as the back of his friend disappeared through customs, a lump forming in his throat that he swallowed back chiding himself for being sentimal.

The same night he attended the gala given by the leader of the Jung's
clan to finally find out what the latter man was plotting. As he expected the place was sumptuous, in a pompous way. Large colons, marbles floors paired with lavishes curtains, persian carpets that  breathed money but not taste. He sigh over the rim of his champagne flute as his gaze scanned the elegant guests.

Alphas, omegas and even some betas all of them dressed in expensive suits and gowns, chatting animately over the sound of clining glasses and classical music. It hadn't even been an hour yet and jimin was already bored out of his skull as he had yet to catch a glimpse of the host. He helped himself to some petit four served by a bland looking server who shot him a lustful gaze. He swallowed the urge to drive the sharp end of a broken glass stem through his eye socket and turned around just in time to a large middle aged man approach him.

Jimin immediately knew he's staring at the Jung's clan leader. The power emanating from him in waves was by far weaker than his but still impressive to some extend. It moved like fine tendrils, licking at the back of his head insiduously trying to sneak in. He blocked the order easily
and leveled the man with a knowing smirk over the rim of his glass.
