A week passed in a flash and soon Jimin's back at the airport but
this time to pick up Taehyung whom flight was suppose to land soon.

The time away from his friend had been useful for him. He had finished placing his pawns and was now waiting for his opponent's next move.

He accepted the hug from taehyung who shout his name as soon as he saw him and arms in arms the duo joined back his car. He had just fastened his belt when his phone rang.

"Who is 'Hobi'?" asked Taehyung, reading the name appearing on the small screen before looking up at his friend, suspicion written all over his pretty face. Jimin turned off the device not meeting the other's
inquisitor's gaze.

"Someone I met. I asked him to be my mate." he responded honestly his eyes fixated ahead of him.

A silence heavy like lead fell in the car's interior.

"WHAT?" shouted taehyung, jumping around in his seat.

The omega sighed, pulling away from the lot.

"I left for seven days and you asked someone else in marriage?" he felt a
cocktail of different feelings from anger to sadness and a tinge of
disappointment at his best friend's rash decision.

Jimin's hands tightened around the wheels and he bit down his lips, his eyes darkening but not a word forming in his mind. he understood his friend's reaction but he knew what he was doing and he hated that
taehyung doubted his judgement.

"What about jungkook?" at the mention of the alpha's name, his heart lept in his chest and his wolf whined in longing. jimin shot the other a murderous gaze.

"He told you that he'd comeback but you tell me you are going to marry
someone else." continued taehyung, uncaring that he was walking on thin ice.

"he left and there's nothing I will do about it. I'm not his, I belong to myself and I'll do whatever I want, jungkook or not. This is my life." he responded after a minute of
electric silence. Taehyung mulled over the words. He sighed, sitting back down and crossing his arms over
his chest.

"It's a dumb idea." he murmured.

"Maybe but that's my decision. I want you two to meet but if you are too uncomfortable I will not force you just refrain from mentioning him in the future." he said. taehyung nodded in silent.

The omega stayed the night and they don't talk about either jungkook or the new hobi guy again to taehyung's confusion. They ate pizza on his old battered couch, curled up against each others and laughing at the tv until both fell asleep, exhausted but reconciled.

He woke up at dawn, yawning. Jimin had left already. Taehyung picked up
the blanket that fell on the floor last night and padded slowly to his bedroom. He threw it on the bed, tugging his shirt over his head nd sending it flying across the room before doing the same with his short. When he naked, he stepped into the small, cramped bathroom that perpetually smelled of his sweet shampoo and turned on the faucet, letting water splashed all over his body. He soaped himself thouroughly, making sure to not miss a single place and rinsed before walking
out, wet and refreshened.

He pondered before his wardrobe about his outfit when his phone vibrated. he craned his head backward, moving to take it to see flash before his eyes a text from jimin about the date with the hobi guy. Taehyung felt a rush of annoyance, he jammed in a response then moved forward to pick the most offensive outfit he owed and passed it on. He styled his hair before putting on a beret and ventured back into the living room to turn off the tv.
