The Trip

When I looked up he said "Alright chickadoo let's get you home so you can take a nap and stop ogling over me. Oh yeah I almost forgot your school starts tomorrow." I stared gaping at him. "Seriously you can't expect me to go to school so soon I just got here and I really don't feel like it after all that has happened. P.S. I wasn't ogling over you. I was...just admiring how sweet this airport is... hehe " I said making up the best excuse I had. Right is all he had to say. "Anyways how far away from here are you?" I asked. "If I told you where, I'd spoil the fun." he said.

A few hours later

"Are we almost there?" I whined. "Almost...soon" he replied. "How far away is almost?" All he said was "Almost". As we pulled in it wasn't anything I had expected. Not a small broken house like all of my family past has had. No of course he had to be rich grand spankin rich. "You know I thought I had the hard life but now I see you have really been suffering..." I said. He paused "Yeah yeah I know I didn't have it as hard as you but life is harder here than you would think" "And how's that" "Our original house was smaller than yours and then poof my whole family went missing and I was broken until old man Richards took me in and he left me everything in his will. Dang I loved that man he was like my new dad though he could never replace my old dad." "I'm sooo sorry I didn't know that." "Yeah well never judge a book by its cover." he said in a matter-of-fact like voice. "Sooooo can I have the tour?!" "Sure there's my house on the left and yours is also on the left any further questions?" "Haha very funny could I get the tour in a little more detail?" "Fine. The house was built in 1803 in Montana. During that time the man had a wife that died so he moved onto the lousianna purchase land and prospered als-" he was cut off before he could say anymore. "OK mister smarty pants I meant about the house like what this room is and what this room is...Seriously this is what I'm going to be stuck with gosh this is going to be a long 2 years." "Which reminds me Happy Birthday you just won a new car!" I cried and ran into the woods right next to the house.

I stayed there for hours before I heard someone frantically running around yelling my name. "Janessa................JANESSA where are you... as I tried to hide he heard me and ran my direction. He said "Oh my gosh there you are you had me worried sick! Do you have any ide-" "Don't come any closer to me I wasn't meant to be here!" As I reached my hand out to tell him to stop something incredible yet disturbing happened. Everything around me just stopped. Like it was frozen but nothing had ice it was more like when you hit pause on a movie and everything just doesn't go on.

I put my hand down and everything continued. While I stood there looking completely baffled he didn't know what had happened. "What's wrong?" he questioned. He looked down and started arguing with himself "That shouldn't of happened yet you said it would be a month after she was here not hours!" "What's going on Mike?" I asked backing up unsure whether to be scared or feel like he's my only hope. He slowly walked with his hands up showing his surrender. "I was going to tell you but I know you would've freaked out if I had. I was going to wait a few weeks so we could get to know your powers a little better." "What powers seriously Mike one second you act like I'm a too good for you kind of girl the next thing I know you're telling me to believe you and trust you with the powers I have yet to have seen. Well, most of the way." "I will explain everything later just ease your mind for right now please that's the only way of me getting out of this Forrest alive!" Breathe in breathe out is all I could think. As I had cooled down I didn't even notice the cloth he had pulled out until it was on my face. I was screaming kicking trying to fight my way out until everything started to fade out not before I saw all the trees levitating off the ground pointed at us. As my eyes closed I heard the trees fall and then my vision went black.
