    I woke up in a hospital bed. How had I gotten here? I looked around the room and saw the boy named Eric sleeping in the chair. I made the blanket slide farther up his body to cover him with it. He shifted and mumbled something about "Janessa are you there?" I laughed but got out of bed a little sore from last time I had been awake but I imagined I was on cloud nine and there I was "Wow this is awesome!" But I realized I wasn't where I was needed or where I wanted to be. So I imagined I was back in the room. I opened up the window of the building and crawled up the side of the wall and sat on the roof. I laid down and went to sleep with my feet dangling off the roof. I awoke when I heard people screaming "Where could she have gone in such a short amount of time?" I heard the window open again and Mike crawled up to me and sat by me in silence for a little while and it felt good. I had not had a moment of silence in such a long time. Mike eventually spoke"Why did you run?""I was exhausted of everything that I had grown up to believe was wrong so I started off just going out for a run and then I fell asleep under the tree. I woke up to Zonnos taking me somewhere but I had finally had enough of this fighting and running and hiding that I just gave up. And I woke up strapped down to a chair with an old Zonno trying to say he was my father and that my brother was Der. Of course I didn't believe him and then he gave up once my sarcastic answers were annoying to him. He said that he'd had enough of trying to convince me and he was just going to kill me instead. So he brought in Zonno after Zonno to come beat me up and slowly but surely kill me. Before he laughed though he gave me an evil laugh and I lodged a grape in his throat. He was furious. But I was triumphant and happy until they started to beat me up for the next three days. On the fourth day Eric saved me and betrayed his own family's just so he could save me." Mike laughed then frowned" Don't you think he's a little suspicious. I mean Zonnos just can't be nice." "What about Der then he's part Zonno? Isn't he?" Mike nodded then stuttered and said "I guess you're right." I nodded and laughed "Aren't I always? Besides keep in mind Therese's saying its not want they its who they are." I then leapt up and said"Let's see if we can find any trouble around here before they realize its me doing all the trouble.

"Oh my gosh did you see the librarians face when all the books from that row were on the ground. He picked them up turned around looked back and they were back there. Then his radio started playing pop music on full blast. The lights started flickering. He ran screaming like a little girl. That was hilarious." Mike just shrugged and said"What can I say I'm king of the pranks." He acted like he was stepping on a rock with sword in hand looking quite glorious and cute. So I shoved him and he lost his balance and fell off his"rock".We had also gone to the student council peoples party and filled their pool with soap, started a food fight with sushi, and convinced someone to let me do their makeup because I may be the best makeup artist in this country. Well they did look like the best clown in town. We got ice cream and then went back to base. Where Therese was waiting for us fuming. She stomped over to me asking"Do you have any idea how worried we have been over you?" I shrugged and handed her the ice cream we had gotten her. She took it and shrunk down in a seat. "You should never do this to your friends. We are here for you so you must be here for us." I nodded"I'm sorry I just was tired of being around all this you must be this or you are mine or you will do this. For a few hours I was just chill and back to being me and I'm ready to do what I must to defeat the Zonnos."

    Therese's shoulders sagged and she sighed"OK before we get to training we need you to meet someone who has been waiting for you to wake up." I  raised an eyebrow but she just shrugged and padded off to the hospital room. Right when I got in the room he hugged me. I don't know who he is but the hug still felt nice. I looked up confused not knowing who this person was. He had a sad look in his eyes and said "Don't you remember me?" "I'm sorry but no. Should I?" Mike stepped up and said"It might help to know that he saved you from the Zonnos." I whirled around and hugged this new guy and said"Wow well this will make for a sorry excuse then. I'm so sorry I really don't remember anything past the first couple days of the beating. I'm really sorry!" He shrugged and said "Its no big deal but I'll let you make it up if you let me take you out to dinner tomorrow." I started to try to turn him down but he was too quick"Its a date then! I'll pick you up at 6 o'clock tomorrow." Mike possesively walked in front of me and glared at him and spoke"You didn't give her a chance to turn you down which I'm sure she would've. If you had given her time."  I put my hand on Mikes shoulder and said"Its fine if he saved my life then I will go out with him tomorrow." The next part I looked at him for"But only one date unless I see that the date was enjoyable." Mike growled and I laughed"Is that jealousy I detect?" He blushed"No its just...I thought I smelled a Zonno." I tensed and so did Eric. I guess he's had a bad experience with Zonnos too. I shrugged but I kept that question in the mind bank to ask him about on our date tomorrow.
