The Power Inside

Zonno's Part 2

I was so scared I could have peed my pants. They were gaining speed along with the Zonno's. Zonno's run extremely fast for a lizard looking thing. But apparently so did Therese and Der, they ran like lightning. As I closed my eyes and cleared my mind my only thoughts were freeze time only on the Zonno. When I opened my eyes Therese and Der came to me and the Zonno was frozen in place.

   Der was the first to reply"You've got to teach me how to do that." Therese was bleeding. I screamed,"Oh my god you're bleeding." I turned my head confused like and said,"Wow you're bleeding green." Therese laughed awkwardly and denied that she was bleeding green"You must be seeing things""Nope I'm pretty sure this is green it'd be here later now or a long time away it'll still be green!""Fine you got me I'm not completely human either!"

   I stood there completely shocked not knowing what to say. While I was interrogating Therese I failed to notice that I had put my hand down and the Zonno was hurtling itself towards us. Right when I turned around the Zonno was on top of me. Before I could even scream I felt a pinch in my leg and my whole body was going numb. I thought that this might be another chloroform session but the Zonno had stung me.

I was finding it extremely hard to focus or use my powers. Now I felt completely useless. I turned my head around looking for Therese and Der but they were no where to be seen. Right as I had given up hope I felt someone push the Zonno off of me but I was too tired and too weak to see who. I fell asleep and was lifted and taken away somewhere.

As I woke up Mike, the nice cop, Therese, and Der were all hovering over me. I got straight up only to hit my head on Mikes head. I still felt extremely weak but I shrugged it off. I asked ,"How long was I out for?" they all replied in unison,"You were out for two weeks!"

  I was fed up with all this not knowing anything so I yelled,"Explain what's going on or I might have to call the cops and tell them I'm an unaccompanied minor who's going to need some help to get a new family!" Mike stepped forward to talk but I moved to the corner and said ,"Don't step any closer! I'm afraid everyone here knows what I'm capable of so..." I drew an imaginary line a few feet away from me,"don't come past this magical line!" The line grew with power and all I could see from this side was a see through yellow wall that was rippling with power. Mike shakily put his hands up and somehow he broke the wall that I had put up. Therese, Der, and the nice cop did the same. I backed up into a corner and thought dang!
