Chapter 16- Holiday!

Darcy's POV

As we drive away from the horrid place, Joe takes his fake moustache off and messes his hair up a little. Wow,he looks hot in a suit and messy hair.

"Are you okay Darce?" Joe asks me with concern in his voice.

"Y.. Yeah" I stutter, still a bit shaken up.

"See, I found a way to find you" Joe laughs, trying to lighten the mood. This causes me to giggle.

"Joe I can't thank you enough for what you just did, I mean you basically have risked your life for me and I just love you so much for that" I say all in one breath.

"It was nothing really" Joe says cheekily, winking at me.

"Joe not to put like a downer on the mood, but where are we going?" I say curiously.

"We're going to fetch Zoe, Alfie and your suitcase" he laughs.

"My suitcase? Why?" I ask confused, but Joe just laughs.

"Shush little one, just enjoy the ride" he winks again. I hate surprises.

About an hour later we arrive at the hotel we were staying in and Alfie comes out with Zoe on his arm throwing the suitcase in the trunk. They jump into the car and Joe speeds off to wherever we were going.

Zoe hugs me right from behind the seat and says "I can't believe that dick! I was so worried Darce, I... I thought you were gone" she whispers a tear rolling down her cheek.

"Hey!" I say, trying to lighten the mood. "Nothing happened to me, just a bit of a bump. I just can't thank Joe enough for saving me! So let's all be happy and enjoy wherever we are going! Okay?"

"Okay" everyone agrees.

"You guys should rest for a bit, it's a long drive" Joe says.

"Joe tell me pleaaaase! I will love you forever!" I say, trying to persuade him to tell me, but with 100% truth in my voice.

He blushes lightly and says "Sorry Darce but you are already gonna love me forever and we'll get married and have babies and live in a giant castle"

Everyone giggles at what he said but we both knew there was a lot of truth in what he had said.

After 3 and a half hours of driving we finally stop outside an airport?

We all climb out getting the suitcases out of the trunk. Me and Zoe rush off to the bathroom to try and cover the bruising on my face up.

We manage to hide most of it and head of to the check-in to meet Joe and Alfie.

"Can you tell me where we are going now?!" I ask Joe getting frustrated.

"Okay, yano how we were talking years ago and you said it was on your bucket list to go to Venice?" Joe says blushing slightly. I was absolutely speechless so I just lightly nodded my head. "Well, 4 tickets to Venice for 2 weeks" Joe said smiling brightly.

My brain is to scrambled to make words. I am stood I front of 100's of people with tears streaming down my face.

"Thank you" I manage to breath out, "thank you so so much Joe, I don't think you quite understand just how much I love you" I say throwing my arms around him. I hear him mumble something under his breath but don't question it as I need to focus on my breathing.

2 hours later and we were boarding the plane.

This is going to be the best few weeks of my life.
