Chapter 21

Kadience's POV

I quickly turned my phone on so I could call Emoni. I was relieved when I read her text saying she was looking for me but she had to leave with Malik after he came in the club and pulled her from the bar all the way to his car. They were probably having make up sex right now.

"Babe I'm sorry for yelling at you at the club earlier." Jayden said while keeping his eyes on the road.

"I'm sorry for following you." He chuckled and kept driving. "What did my uncle tell you?"

"He asked me to keep you happy and not to hurt you and if I did I was gone have to deal with him , then he showed me his gun." Jayden replied. My uncle was something else , i smiled at the thought that he threatened Jayden for me.

We listened to the radio all the way home. He had a lot on his mind and so did I. I had so many questions and I needed answers. When Jayden pulled up in my drive way there was a black Chrysler already there. That Chrysler belong to my mother.

Jazmine's POV

"Guess what I got ?" Jalin said smiling walking through our bedroom door. I was laying in bed watching love and hiphop and Nikko was lying his ass off, he knew good and damn well he released them tapes.

"My waffles ?!" I asked sitting up smiling from ear to ear. "Gimmie." I said holding out my hand for the huddle house bag. He handed me the bag , within 5 seconds I had my plate open ready to eat my waffles.

"Can I have some ?" Jalin asked laying on the bed in front of me.

"Hell nahh , do you know how long I've been waiting for these damn waffles ?"

"Bae now you know you ain't right." He said smacking his lips. I cut a little piece of my waffle off and fed it to him.

"You happy now ?" I asked with an attitude.

"Nah not really." I rolled my eyes playfully because he was so childish. "Nikko know he leaked them damn tapes ain't nobody stole his bags!" I yelled at the tv.

"Right. That had that shit planned." Jalin said looking at tv making me laugh.

After the show went off I turnt the tv off and got underneath the covers with Jalin. I had already taken my shower and so did he. I laid on my side , while Jalin wrapped his arm around my belly and pulled me Into him. "Your hair smells like apples." He said running his fingers through my hair.

I laughed because we were suppose to be sleep but he was smelling my hair. I knew he had something on his mind , almost 3 in the morning and he was still up. Usually he would be sleep. "What happened at the club ?" I asked.

"A lot." He said sighing and turning on his back. I turned on my other side to face him.

"Wanna talk about it ?" I asked tracing the tattoo on his chest.

"I gotta make a decision to help hit up some trap houses and to help kill Rock and I almost got shot." He had his hands propped behind his head , looking up at the ceiling.

"Wait what ?!" I asked in shock . Someone tried to shoot my baby daddy ? Ohh hell nahh , we finna go bang bang on these bitches. "Who was it ?! We finna go kill they asses." I said throwing the covers off of me and getting up out the bed.

"You ain't finna do shit yo scary ass, get back in this bed."

He was right I wasn't finna do shit. I don't even know how to shoot a damn gun let alone hold one. I crawled back in bed like he told me too and cuddled with him.

"Nobody really tried to shoot me but somebody did start shooting at the club so technically I did almost get shot." He explained.

"What are you going do ?" I asked with teary eyes.

"I don't know , I wanna help for revenge and then I don't want too."

"Revenge for what Jalin ?" I asked looking up at him

"Rock tried to kill me and Jay. "

Jalin's POV

I didn't know if Jazmine was crying because she was just hormonal or if she really was scared of losing me. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her into me. "I'm not going anywhere Jazmine." I said before kissing her forehead. I told her everything from the time we were at Slug's house up until the meeting at the club. "Maybe you should." She said softly.

"Wait what ? " I asked in shock.

"I mean think about it Jalin. Rock thinks you and Jay are dead the minute he finds out that you're not he will have you killed immediately and you know it. Why not kill him first ?"

She was right , I was just as dead to Rock as he was to me. I still couldn't believe she was encouraging me to do this.
