2 months later.
Present day February 6

It's been two months since I last seen Jason, since we took our break from each other. I watched a few of his games on tv. I'm still in California, the company made me switch locations for the winter so now I'll be working in their Los Angeles corporate building instead of New York. Sean comes see me a lot because his college is a hour away.

I unlock my apartment door walking in turning on the lights. I honestly glad that me and Jason are taking a break even though I miss him a lot, but I needed to clear my head and didn't want  unwanted baggage on my shoulders. A couple weeks ago he told me he still needed time, we haven't talk since then.

Grabbing my plate of beef, rice and broccoli and a glass of wine. Sitting on the couch, watching criminal minds. The apartment is simple 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom. Greg said I can use it for the winter while I'm out here.

My phone buzzes on the coffee table, it's three in the morning who is calling me. Reaching over to answer I see it was Jason, I answer instantly. "Hello?"

It was quiet for a few seconds. "Hey. Y-Your up?"

"Yes. Is something wrong?"

"No. I just. I just umm." He stuttered over his words. "How are you?"

I sigh. "Don't do this Jason? Your not being fair, your making this harder for me."

"You think it's easy for me." He practically yells through the phone. "Being in our house without you in it. Not being able to hold you or kiss you. Sleeping alone for the past two months in our bed. Emily. It's been complete hell for me."

I close my eyes tightly, not wanting to cry. "What do you want, why did you call me Jason?"

"I wanted to hear you voice." He pauses. "I miss you." He whispers. I sigh feeling a tear slide down my face. "Can I come see you please. It's the off season. I don't have any practices or games. Please I just wanna see you baby."

"You said you needed more time."

"I didn't mean that. I was still mad. I was being arrogant." He says. "Can I just come please?"

I sigh, it's been two months since we last seen each other, two whole months since I last kissed him, touched him, seen him dimpled smile. "Yes." Is all I say.

I can practically see him smiling through the phone. "Okay. I'll see you soon."

I don't respond I hang up instead. I wipe my face. Laying down on the couch.

Next morning I woke up to banging on my door. I quickly get up, feeling my heart beating fast in my chest. The banging continues, I peep through the peep hole on the door. I sigh rolling my eyes. "Are you fucking crazy!" I yell opening the door.

"Are you?! You're two hours late for the photo shoot with Miles." Danni says walking in past me . I curse. Running in my room brushing my teeth quickly throwing my change of clothes in my bag. I walk back out to the living room seeing my car keys and a cup of coffee and her hand.

"Thanks Danni." I say breathless. Locking the apartment door then taking the items out her hand.

She sips her coffee grinning at me. "Wanna explain why you slept late?"

We being to walk to our cars. I sigh pulling my hair in a bun. "Jason called me last night. He wants to come see me."

She gasp. Clapping her hands. "YES. Did you say yes?!"

"Yes." I smile rolling my eyes. "He should be coming later in the evening."

"Awe. I hope you guys get back together." She says.
