Chapter 16 - Evening ball

I walked into the practice room of Sm entertainment to practice more of my dancing.

Mark and the guys are currently participating in a live tv show .

I looked in the mirror and danced to a fast and upbeat song. Beads of sweat dropped down my body.

The though of Mark kept on running in my mind all day. I couldn't figure out why he was acting so strange around me. We did get back together but I don't know . It's like he is close to me but he so far away. I don't get it . I hate how he does that. When something is wrong he always pushes me away.

This morning I woke up expecting to see mark but the bed was empty. When I went upstairs into the kitchen i saw him sitting down with Ten  and Jaehyun for breakfast .

" you're going to have to tell her soon." Ten says as it looked like they were in an important conversation .

I walked in interrupting them .

"Tell who what ? " I asked out of curiosity as I went behind mark to where he was sitting and wrapped my arm around his neck from behind.

" Morning Babe." I said as I kissed his cheeks.
He kept a straight face

Ten looked really upset as well.

" okayy what's wrong guys." I asked worried.

Jaehyun opened his mouth to talk but Mark interrupted him immediately.

" N-Nothing, babe just go to work. I'll meet you later at the ball. The CEO of Sm entertainment has imformed everyone that there will be a evening ball for the biggest entertainment companies in Korea , everyone will be there . We have a video to shoot so I'll meet you." Mark said with a serious face and I could tell he changed the subject .

They are acting so strange and it's bothering me . I went to work anyway ignoring what just happened.

So yeah that happened I checked my phone as I turned off the music in the studio to see if I got any calls or text from mark.

I frowned seeing that I didn't get anything. The door creeped open and a familiar girl walked in. It was that bitch that seduced him . I stared blankly at her .

She was smiling and laughing.

"I'm kena(I made up a name) . What ? Not getting a text from Mark oppa. Face it he chose me over you especially since I have become more special to him than you ." She laughed

I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion and annoyance.

" what the hell are you talking about ?" I asked annoyed.

" oh he didn't tell you ?" She smirked all proud and I swear I wanted to rip her face off.

" NOW I'm going to ask you one more time . What the fuck are you talking about ?" I ask her again

She laughed again " I'm pregnant with his child." She said while handing me all the document she got from the doctor. I heard that and everything went silent , the heart that had just been put back together fell to pieces ... again. I tried my best not to cry in front of her. I didnt want anyone to see my weak vulnerable side.

" how does that feel?" She spat .

I was about to leave but she spun me around and slapped me.

" Dont come near my man again bitch , he is mine now." She said

I walked aggressively towards her ready to slap the shit out of her but she caught me off guard and waved her finger left to right .

" unh huh nope, remember I'm pregnant and what would mark say if you touched me and what would the media say ? That one of their idols slapped another pregnant star? Doesn't sound to good does it ." She said and walked off.

My face hurt and I was mad, her ring slightly scratch the bottom of my cheek and it was bleeding. It hurt but not as much as knowing that I was going to loose mark again. I didn't know if I was mad at him or her. 

I kept on thinking about it and I'm not mad at Mark I'm just really hurt by it. I was just so hurt . I found myself getting ready into my dress and makeup for the ball. I called Hong won and explained to him everything that had happened and he came by to pick me up for the ball since he was going too.

As his car arrived I walked down the stairs and he hugged me tight.

" look I'm not trying to defend him , but Mark fucking loves you . He's an ass sometimes but I know for sure he loves you and I dont expect you to respond to this and agree with me. But hey let's hang tonight at the ball and after . Just you and me as friends. Don't worry ... No sex or intimacy ....unless you want to." He pulled me in for another hug and I wanted to cry and laugh at the same time.

" don't cry , you are stronger than that and you wouldn't want to ruin all that effort in your make up." Hongwon says .

After he said he made me laugh more. I can't explain this friendship but I was glad we had it . I let go of him and we arrived to the ball.

It's just weird how everything was going fine just to be put right back at where we started. I can't believe he couldn't tell me.

I looked over at mark's table sitting with the guys and of course that bitch Kena right next to Mark . The table was practically full but one seat next to mark was open. I guess it was for me . Ten probably save it, but I wasn't comfortable with kena there. Seeing them sitting together pained my heart.

Loud music was playing hongwon purposely held my hand and we walked directly passed them sitting at the table with a bunch of rappers including jay park , gray, dok2, and swings. Hong won wrapped his arms around my shoulders as we sat and ate there. I felt eyes staring me down me down and I knew it was mark's.

I noticed Kena was gone somewhere and Mark deciding to walk over here.

"Oh sup bro ." Mark says to hongwon while taking glances at me occasionally. They had a short talk and then mark came over to me.

" Hey Babe , I wasn't sure if you saw us but we were looking for you and even saved you seat . Come on come sit with us. " he said pretending to be nicer than he was this morning. I couldn't look at him in the eyes .

" U-Um it's okay it seems to be crowded over there anyway plus I already promised hongwon and his friends here that I was going to sit and hang with them tonight." I said in a blank voice.

I saw him walk back to his table when Kena came back and he was a bit mad .

This night was actually fun . Hong won and his friends were really funny and I had was having a great time. We hit the dance floor and began dancing among other celebrities. Hongwon didn't drink anything since he was going to drive me to go chill afterwards. But I had a little drink myself. Gray began dancing up against me as hongwon kept jokingly coming between us. And gray would pretend to want to fight him . It was so funny .

They were fun people to hang around. I still felt Mark watching me the whole time. I leaned in Hong won ear and told him I needed to pee. He laughed and let me go.

I was walking out the ball room to the beautiful bathrooms. Until I felt someone only pull me from the waist gently and put me against the wall. I opened my eyes to see mark.

" babe ,dance with me tonight , I haven't yet hanged with you tonight at all?" He was well conscious so I knew he hadn't been drinking . I didn't respond so he leaned in for a kiss but I turn my head to the right .

He looked confused and his eyes widen.

" babe , what're wrong." He said.

" I don't know you tell me." I said
