Twenty Eight

"MAC!" Ariana screamed, I ran towards the bathroom and opened the door, she was shaking and looked panicked.

"What?" I asked as calmly as possible, I didn't want to freak out since I'm supposed to be the man in the household.

"My water broke" she mumbled, my eyes widened. I picked Ariana up and carried her bridal style. I walked her out to the car and placed her in the front seat.

I walked over to the driver's seat and got in and placed the keys into the ignition, once the car was started I drove as fast as I could to the nearest hospital.

I parked as close to the hospital as possible, so it wouldn't be a long walk. I got out f the car and took the keys out of the ignition and slid them into my back pocket.

I jogged over to the passenger seat and opened the door and grabbed Ariana. I carried her bridal style to the front of the hospital.

I walked into the hospital and walked up to the front counter, "hi how can I help you" the lady said looking up from her computer.

"My wife's water broke and I need her in a room as soon as possible" I explained to the nurse. She jumped up and went to the back room.

A few seconds later a flood of nurses came and took Ariana from me, I followed the flood and they were taking her to a room.

I was about to walk inside but I was stopped by a older lady that was nurse, "your gonna have to stay out here, we will get you as soon as shes giving birth" he lady said shutting the door behind her leaving me there behind the door.

I sighed heavily and walked over to the waiting room, which had chairs lined up and magazines scattered everywhere on the little coffee table.

I sat down in one of the chairs and grabbed my phone out of my pocket, I opened Liz's contact and pressed the call button.

I placed the phone by my ear and waited for her to pick up the phone, on the second ring she answered.

"You never call me, what's up?" Liz asked. "Ariana's giving birth and she might want her best friend by her side so I just wanted to tell you".

"WHAT!, ILL BE THERE ASAP!" she screamed into the phone, and like that she hung up. I placed my phone in my pocket and waited for news on Ariana.

About ten minutes past and I heard no news on Ariana, I heard fast footsteps and I looked up and saw a panicked Liz.

"Where is she?" Liz asked looking around for Ariana, like she would come out any second, "in a hospital room, they won't let us in there" I exclaimed.

"Damn it" Liz mumbled. She sat down beside me, and placed her chin in her palms.

"I know, they won't even let me in, even though I'm the husband" I looked down at the magazines in front of me bored out of my mind.

I heard a door open and Liz and I both shot our heads up seeing a young lady with a clipboard in her hand.

"We have news about Ariana" she said.

That's ok I'll be making a sequel but it won't come out just yet, I'll tell you when it comes out though!
