I woke up to see Party still asleep next to me. I remembered what Jet had said the day before, and decided to let them sleep for a bit. While I was thinking about this, they woke up and caught me staring at them.
"Was I asleep?"
"Yes."
"Shit what if something had happened? What if—" I cut them off.
"Nothing happened, that's what matters."
"But..." they stopped. "Okay. We should go eat. Today we're all going out to shoot stuff."
I smiled. "Okay." We went out to get breakfast.
After we had eaten, we all crowded into a car that was probably only meant to seat four, but we made it work. I was handed a bright (y/f/c) ray gun. I took it, and tested it by shooting the nearest tree.
"What did that oak ever do to you?" Ghoul joked. Everyone seemed to really like me, but Kobra was being really quiet. I wondered if he was okay.
These thoughts were pushed out of my head, though, when we got into a zone where Dracs were patrolling. I got caught up in shooting them down, and honestly it was better to kill these than regular people, because you couldn't see them lose the light behind their eyes, because BLind had already stripped them of that.
We went on like this until it was noon, according to the sun. Then we stopped for lunch. Kobra silently took out five cans of Power Pup, (eww), and handed one to each of us. We started eating, and I sat down next to Kobra.
"How are you feeling?" I asked him.
"What do you mean?"
"Party told me. They were really worried about how you would take it the night before they told you."
"They told you before they told me?"
Uh oh. "Yes, they did, but it was late, and I was kind of bugging them to find out what was wrong. It was my fault, really. Don't blame them."
He nodded. "Okay, I'm not that upset, honestly," he was talking really quietly, and I could tell he wasn't okay, but I decided to leave him alone.
Soon, we left to head back toward zone 6, where our diner was. When we got back, we started another fire, and soon we had made food and were eating and laughing at things that weren't even funny.
Ghoul cracked a joke about how Party was staring at me. We both blushed, and Party kept staring.
"Can I dye your hair?" they asked me.
"They're really good. They did mine." Kobra supplied.
"Sure. What color?"
"Now that has to be a surprise."
They went inside to go get supplies, and came back with an old package of hair dye, a towel, and some shampoo. "We have to wash your hair first."
"Okay." They put the towel around my shoulders to protect my jacket, well, their jacket, and leaned me back into the water. They took off their shirt and pants, stripped down to just their undergarments, and went in the water to commence washing my hair. When they were done, they got out of the water and started applying dye to my hair. When they were done, we had to wait for half an hour before rinsing it out. We talked while we waited for the timer to go off, and when it did, they got back in the water and started to rinse the dye out of my hair. When they were finished, we went back inside, and when I saw them shivering, walking around wet with almost nothing on, I wrapped the slightly dye covered towel I was holding around their shoulders.
"Thanks," they said.
I stood in front of a mirror and looked at my new dye job. It looked great.
A/n Hope you enjoyed it frens, I think the hair is great.
