Suddenly, the door of we were about to exit through opened with a crash, and a familiar face came in.
"Party, what are you doing here?"
"Rescuing you, of course!"
"I don't need rescuing, thank you very much, we were escaping just fine without you."
"Okay, let's get out of here then!"
"Why are we still here?"
After our bickering, we went outside to see the car and realized our dilemma. We had nine people and one car. We could fit maybe six in the car, but what about the others?
"Oh, it's okay, we'll just steal that motorcycle over there," Tyler said.
"But how do the rest of us fit in the car?" We still had Ryan, Brendon, me, and the four Killjoys to fit in the car.
"Screw road safety laws, get in the car however you can!" Party yelled. We ended up with Brendon sitting shotgun with Ryan on his lap, and me sitting across the three Killjoys sitting in the backseat, with Party driving and Josh and Tyler speeding behind us on the motorcycle.
We all went back to our diner, where we sat down and ate some Power Pup.
"So, how did you escape?" Jet asked us.
"It was really all (y/n). She remembered something we learned in a stupid forensics course in middle school, and made an acid out of batteries that she used to burn through the lock system," Ryan said.
"Don't forget it was all Josh that got the batteries. That was very seductive," I teased.
"Shut up," he muttered.
"I knew you were amazing from the start," Party smiled. "So, what are we going to do with your gay friends here?" they asked, gesturing to Ryan and Brendon making out in the corner.
"They're my bi friends, I dated Ryan for a little while once. But anyway, can we keep them?"
"Well, I guess."
"Yay! We need to get them in some more Killjoy like clothes." Party nodded, and I grabbed Ryan by the wrist, dragging him and Brendon behind me to the bedroom, where we definitely would not have enough room. After they had changed into some brightly colored clothes, we were all tired, so we decided to figure out the sleeping situation.
"Okay," I began. "I can share with Party, and I think, judging by what I saw last night, Ghoul and Kobra should be fine with sharing." I smiled and snickered at their glares and Party's look of surprise. "So either Josh and Tyler or Bren and Ry can have the fourth bed."
"Sounds like a plan," Party said.
"Tyler and I should probably get back to our own hideout, our friends will be really happy to see us."
"So it's settled then?"
We all agreed, and soon we were all settling.
"I'm going to go bathe now." Party notified me.
"Okay," I didn't see why he wanted my permission, but okay.
Party's POV
(A/n- Woah another POV because I was bored)
As I went to get into the freezing water, I couldn't help but think about (y/k/n). She was just so perfect, and incredible, and every time I'm away from her, I can't get her off my mind. She broke them out of a BLind cell using a battery and a bottle of water? Wow.
I dove into the cold water, which took my breath away. On the bright side, if I was shivering when I went back in she'd take pity on me and sit closer than usual.
I wonder if she would go out with me? If only I had the courage to ask her. She's just so intimidating, and it didn't help that I had done such a good job on her hair. But wait...do I have...a weakness? I would do anything for her, anything, and that could be used to BLind's advantage. But she had already proven she could take care of herself, which is comforting. It's really hard to have a group of people that depend on you for everything, so it's nice to have one that doesn't.
Your POV
I saw Party walking back into the room, their red hair wet and sticking to their face, shivering and still fairly wet. I had waited up for them to get back because I wanted to make sure nothing happened to them, and I couldn't stop thinking about them while they were away. I patted the bed in the empty area in front of where I was laying, and held the blanket up while they crawled into the bed. I could feel how cold they were, so I took a risk and put my arm around them, pulling them closer to share my body heat. I leaned my face into the back of their neck and fell asleep.
It was the first night I didn't wake up for no reason at all, and in the morning I realized Party had been asleep as well, and didn't wake up screaming or anything.
A/n: Hope you're enjoying the story, more updates coming today because I have no life, and because today we do all of our schoolwork from home so the teachers can have their conferences with our parents. (Not mine because I don't get in trouble) I'm pretty sure the only people reading this already knew that though, so "So long and goodnight." (Even though it's morning)
