....I turned around, and saw someone I was not expecting to see.
"Tyler Joseph?!" i asked, amazed that I was really meeting one of my idols.
"I go by Mad Gear now, but yes, I am Tyler Joseph, and yes, Josh is here too, but he's sleeping so keep your voices down."
"Okay," I agreed, lowering my voice.
"Hold on a sec," Tyler, I mean Mad Gear, (no I didn't), said. "Is that Brendon Urie from Panic! at the Disco?"
"Oh, yeah, it is. He and Ryan Ross are my old school friends."
"That is wicked cool."
"Anyway," Ryan, always the practical one, broke in. "How are we going to get out of here?"
"I still think we should just wait for (y/n)'s friends to come to rescue her," Brendon said.
"What if they just think she ran away with us?" Ryan was also always the first one to worry.
"Stop! I'm not going to let some guys come rescue me. I'm an independent person. Okay, Ryan, remember that forensics course we took in middle school?"
"Yeah?"
"So you remember that time they taught us to make acid out of batteries?"
"Yeah, now that I think about it, they should not have taught fourteen year olds to do these things."
"What type of crazy school did you go to?" Tyler asked.
"They had some...interesting extracurriculars. I also took a survival course which has been very useful lately."
"Anyway, if we can steal some batteries from something, we can get out by damaging the lock system."
"But where do we find the batteries?" Brendon asked.
"That's where I come in," a new voice said, and I realized it was Josh.
"This guy is the best pickpocket in all of Battery City," Tyler explained.
"So, you find something that has batteries in it, or maybe one of the maintenance guys will just have some in their pockets. Then Ryan and I use them along with the water they give us to drink later, and burn the main lock system so that they all unlock. Deal?"
"Deal," everyone agreed.
"Actually, we could probably pickpocket the maintenance dude that brings us food every night. We've been here a while," Tyler and Josh looked tired, not physically, but mentally, probably from spending a long time in a plain white cushioned cell with no one to talk to.
We sat around our cells being bored for awhile, and then I had an idea.
"Hey Bren, why don't you sing something for us?"
"We can all sing!" Ryan said happily. "Do you know any of our old songs, Tyler?"
"Yeah, I memorized your latest album, Pretty. Odd."
( A/n: I used Pretty. Odd. so Ryan would still be in the band at this point. I know it came out in 2008 and this is set in 2019, but I thought I'd do it like this so there.)
"I'll start. I know the perfect song," I said.
Come save me from walking off a window sill or I'll sleep in the rain.
Brendon smiled and continued the next part with me.
Don't you remember when I was a bird and you were a map?Ryan and Tyler continued with the next part.
And now he drags down miles in America, briefcase in hand.
The stove is creeping up his spine again, can't get enough trash.
We went on like this, and Josh had begun tapping a beat on the bars of the window between our cells, and we all finished with a really loud "Reinvent love."
I heard clapping coming toward our cells, and then I saw the very face of BLind himself: Korse.
"Bravo you sorry excuses for human beings. Good job, but maybe you should try some classical music, and be a bit more like the rest of us?"
"I'm sorry, did we give you the impression we ever wanted to be like you?" I said sarcastically.
"Hmm, sassy," he sniffed. "Anyway, I hope you know we are only keeping you alive to lure in your little boyfriend and his band of freaks."
"Party is not a 'he.' Party is a they, and if you don't respect that, you will die slowly and painfully one day."
"Well, whatever you want to call it, we're going to lure your friends in, and then we aren't going to kill them."
"Of course you are! What else would you do with them?"
"We are going to strip them of everything that makes them who they are, and then we're going to kill you in front of them and brainwash them into Draculoids."
"You're going to kill me? The one the Killjoys value as their best shooter? You really are dumb if you don't want to add a Deadshot to your band of stormtroopers."
"Well, whatever we do with you, you won't like it!" he was beginning to be at a loss for words. I was winning. He grunted and walked away flustered. We all laughed as he left. These friends of mine are some of the gutsiest people I've ever met.

When dinner time came, the slaves that came to feed us went to Josh and Tyler's cell first. I could see Josh fake flirting with the man that brought them their food, and then soon enough the braindead zombie left their cell and came to mine, and finally to Brendon and Ryan's.
Once the man was out of earshot, I whispered to Josh, "Get anything?"
He triumphantly held up a walkie talkie and a screwdriver to get into it with. Jackpot. "Good job!" The device was to large to fit through the bars, so he took out the batteries and handed them to me. I took the cup of water from my tray and began to Macgyver my way to some acid, and then I put it on the metal tray my food had come on, and once it was ready, I splashed it on the lock system. I held my breath as I watched things burn and melt away, and then i tried my door. It didn't open at first. I pushed harder, and finally it gave way. The others came out of their cells as well, and we went down the hall the maintenance man had come from.
We rounded a corner, and there was the very person who had unwittingly helped us escape. I gave him a good kick in the you know, and then I grabbed his ray gun and shot him. I shot a few more on the way out, until we all had guns. At last I could see an exit...
