the way i go
about my day
is a mystery
but maybe soon
we can go about our days
the same
with each other
i only dream a day will come
where you and i can see
each other, here in person
only you and me
the choreography
of a good day
is certainly hard to beat
but i know
that even if our day spent together
goes awry
at least the two of us
got to meet
i'll continue to dream of this day
knowing these dreams bode well
for the good days to come
and the well-being of myself
maybe i'll share my thoughts with you
if you'd be so kind
as to listen to the things i have to say
and the oddities in my mind
one day, with you i'll share
the words i write for you
but until then, you'll have to deal
with lines about dreams
that have yet to come true.
