she threw away her life just to buy a little time,
she thought that maybe if she misbehaved, she'd never ever die.
but what the young girl didn't know was what she was getting into,
for the only thing her life became was one problematic issue.
she became someone she wasn't, she longed for attention and fame,
she lusted after fortune and 'electra heart' was her name.
she led on several boys, and then broke all their hearts,
and she'd move on to somewhere else with a brand-new start.
she only wanted the world, never thinking about her life,
and when it came to stopping her, nobody ever tried.
she took on this new persona as a way of assuming change,
and once she had lived her life to the fullest, she went out with a bang.
the family jewels were stolen, electra heart is dead, and the froot's all gone rotten - at least, that's what she said.
