Class sucked, but both Michael and Luke agree that at least they're on break now.
After a couple essays and a few chapters in some book later they're finally free.
For a week, but at least they're free.
Michael was still pretty chatty with students and even gossiped during class sometimes.

Luke wondered how he can be so extroverted? Michael was a person for all types, sounds weird, but no matter what clique you put yourself into. Michael likes you and you liked him, he was lusted after, that's a fact. He was a person who always looked passed cliques, even in high school.

He was always seen as that emo kid but was pretty sweet to those who gave him the chance.

Not like Luke wasn't attractive. Everyone and their moms knew he was, but he had an issue, he was just cold and obvious and gay. Hitting in guys didn't work out for him and girls hitting on him didn't work out for them. Often, when girls hit on him he would change his personality flavorful as plain white rice.

Are you gonna visit home?" Michael asks, packing his things, waiting for Luke to finish his.
"Um, maybe? I wanna see my mom but I don't think I can afford it." Luke responds, he always shrugged it off. He contacts his mom daily, it's not like he doesn't love his mom. No, Luke loves her with all his heart but traveling so far is so expensive he couldn't afford it.

"Are you?" The blond asks the now blue haired boy, Luke thought it was crazy that you let Michael run off to the store and he comes back with blue hair dye. This delayed their arrival to class because Michael just absolutely had to dye his hair before class.

"I'm going to see my grandma in a couple days down south, hopefully other family will be there." He gushes, squealing softly at the thought of seeing his Grandma, his favorite person in the world really. Michael's brought up his grandma before ever so vaguely. Luke would never press on why his parents weren't in the picture, or if they were at all.

Luke just nodded awkwardly, his body starting to zone out of the conversation. He was floating again and he can feel it, his brain kinda caught Michael saying. A part of him is still not there, by a part, all of him is not there.

"Oh! Maybe we can do something before I go! Like a date!" Michael suggests happily, looking at Luke for a answer. Which ended up being a little surprised as Luke chokes a little.
A date. Michael. This Michael that is in front of Luke right now.
Luke couldn't believe this, but he wouldn't have asked to go on a date first.
It was good Michael had the balls to do it.

"Y-Yeah! I would love to!". Luke spits out, awkwardly leaning against the wall for support. His hearts doing a million flips right now, it's been so long. They both stand there for a little, smiling for a bit.
"We should go." Michael says awkwardly, heading towards to the door, Luke agrees, following along with him.

The boys start heading out of the building and Luke pipes up "So when?" He watched Michaels hair shine vibrantly in the sun. It was still cold but, the sun was out.
Which Luke was thankful for.

Michael gives him a little smirk, like he was hiding something responding with a witty "I won't tell you, but you'll know." Along with a wink and some playful finger guns before taking  a sharp turn towards the dorms.

This left Luke to wonder what Michael had in store, which could be a lot. He was pretty out there sometimes. He had plenty of tricks up his sleeve.

"i scramble to find the word that describes you
you're something i can't lose.
you're too close to home,
you're there when i need you the most."
