(At this point I can't even keep up with my Roman numeral chapter titles. Sorry if I messed it up XD)

Y/N POV
"Y/N, time to-
-Oh, sorry, I didn't realize you two-
WAIT A SECOND. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"

The normally deep voice of Peter was shrill with shock and I could hear a giggle coming from a young girl- Lucy, probably.

Edmund and I rustled awake, his arms tightly wrapped around my torso. As we awoke he pulled me closer and I could feel him nestling his face into my hair.  Edmund didn't even acknowledge his sibling's presence.

"EDMUND!  CASPIAN IS GOING TO KILL YOU, GET UP!"

Peter shouted at us again, so I scooted over and climbed off my bed, Edmund's arms lazily trying to pull me back.

"Peter's right, Ed," I stretched, "if Caspian finds out he'll bury us both."

"Peter?" Edmund mused, "He's here?  Gosh, I was hoping his annoying voice was merely a nightmare."
Edmund opened his eyes and cocked his eyebrows at his brother, smirking.
"You're just jealous, Petey."

Peter's face turned red. "No- no. Love is gross.  You guys are gross.  I'm- I'm leaving."

With a huff,  he walked out of the room and Lucy and I started giggling at Peter's flustered face.

Edmund rolled out of bed and I turned to him, then started to fix his messy black hair.  It was cute, the way his hair was sticking in all different directions.

He started smoothing down my hair, and for a moment we just stood there, fixing each others bedhead.

"You guys are so cute.  I can't wait til you're married!" Lucy's statement was joyful and she leaned against my wall. "I'll be a bridesmaid!"

Edmund embraced me for a second, then we shifted so his arm was around my waist and I was leaning my head on his shoulder.

"Married, huh? We've known each other for a week, Luce," Edmund said through a smile.  His thumb traced circles on my hip.

Lucy grinned at us and shrugged. "I know true love when I see it."

The three of us laughed, and Lucy sighed. "Anyway, we needed to find you two because Aslan..." her smile faded. "Aslan wants to see us."

I swallowed the lump rising in my throat.  We knew what that meant.

The Pevensies would probably return to their home.

And Edmund and I would never see each other again.

Lucy saw my discomfort and smiled sadly. "Meet in the courtyard, as soon as you're ready...I'll give you two a moment."
She left the bedroom, and Edmund immediately pulled me into a hug.

"Y/N," he spoke, "it'll be okay.  Maybe we'll stay in Narnia for a whole lifetime, like the last time I was here."

I could feel the tears rising.  Something felt off, and I somehow knew he would be leaving. "Edmund, I dont- I don't want to lose you."

"You won't." His words were sincere. "I promise."
