The first light streaks of white hit my eyelids as I slowly open my eyes to the chirping of birds and the pouring in of sunlight. I sit up to find myself on a small circular bed in the middle of what looked like a library.

Amazed, from shelf to shelf stacked to maximum capacity with at least a hundred books each, only accessible by the sliding ladder that stood in front of them

Amazed, from shelf to shelf stacked to maximum capacity with at least a hundred books each, only accessible by the sliding ladder that stood in front of them. Three of the four walls had these bookshelves going up at least two floors, and the last wall on the other side of me had wide floor to ceiling windows letting in the view of the vast ocean beyond a field of bright green grass.

"Good morning,"

"Good morning,"

I turn around to the sound of my boyfriend's comforting voice as he walks in the door with a small tray.

"Good morning? Morning? Peter!" I try to hop up once I realize I was late for work at the shop. But Peter places the tray on the small nightstand and with a single hand engulfing my shoulder, he stops me in my place.

"It's six in the morning Joseph. Calm down." He tells me and I let out a long sigh.

"I told you to wake me up babe, why didn't you?" I ask and his smile fades a little.

"First of all, you passed out in my arms from exhaustion and second of all, you were running a fever. I was worried about you." He says with such genuine concern in those light grey eyes I felt bad for putting him through this.

"Here. I had to fake an illness in front of my father to get this tray but eat something please. You're skin and bones as it is." He says and I take a piece of buttered toast from the tray, nibbling on it while watching him lay down on the other side of me.

"Oh yeah, by the way, Where am I?" I ask and he chuckles softly.

"I love how you wake up in a new place and that's the last thing you ask," Peter says as he closes his eyes

"I love how you wake up in a new place and that's the last thing you ask," Peter says as he closes his eyes. I take another bite of toast and poke his hard chest.

"Don't make fun of me when I'm tired," I giggle, swiping the long black bangs out of his eyes.

"You're in my house, and this is my room." He yawns and my mouth drops.

"W-wait, I'm IN the Grayson Mansion? Like right now? Just randomly woke up in your famous mansion, THE Grayson Mansion?" I ask, taking a small sip of coffee. Peter just nods and rest his hands on his chest with his eyes still closed.

"Yes, you are quite the sleeping beauty. I must say," He laughs. I take another sip of coffee before placing it down on the tray and curling up next to him.

"So we always go to my house. Why do we never come here?" I ask and he opens his eyes and looks at me for a few moments, suddenly leaning over and kissing my forehead while snaking his arm around me.

"I like your room," He mumbles as he nuzzles his head on my shoulder.

"What the hell? My room is a shoebox compared to this," I giggle.

"I like your shoebox. This room is too big for one person." Peter sighs. His voice held this small hint of loneliness that makes my heart skip a beat.

"But you're never alone as long as I'm here,"
