Ellu, boyos! Welcome back to ze second part of the 5th mission of ze Knights' campaign! Btw, there's this writer named KingKittyXOXO who is currently writing a For Honor story titled "Shattered Honor: A For Honor Harem Tale" with Amber, Argen, Ademar and the Lightshield Cohort. Go check him out for the harem story! Personally, I don't like harem stories, but he writes the story well, not to mention with my OCs so that got my attention. Anyways, enjoy ze chapter!
Ad disclaimers!:
I do not, in any way, own For Honor or any media used in the fanfic. If I did, I would have added more pics to better portray each character.

- Less than an hour just after Mercy leaves for her mission, (Y/n)'s POV... -
Cross: "... You and the Lightshield Cohort will advance first to find an area where we can temporarily camp down most of our forces for the final assault of Svengard." The Lawbringer says to Amber, oddly.
Amber: "Understood. We will move out as soon as we can." The female Warden replies to him.
We are just ending the meeting in the rather tidy city hall with Holden, Apollyon, that wretched Salavander and some other officers with us in the cleaned up city hall in Grånsgärd. It was very odd and suspicious, how Holden and Amber acted as if the latter owns the Lightshield Cohort, even Ademar was confused. There's something that I do not know here...
After that, we dismissed ourselves and went on to find Davius to mobilize the Cohort so we can move immediately. Ad went ahead of us to inform the senior officer of the sudden news as me and Amber take our time together. Together...
Amber: "Hey, (Y/n)," She calls my attention.
You: "Yes, what is it?"
Amber: "About what happened back there, that was not my choice. Cross kind of made that up somehow." That's good and all, but what?
You: "So in a way, Holden gave you the Lightshield Cohort?"
Amber: "N-no, I highly doubt that. Cross wouldn't tell me, but it seems that he has other intentions regarding that." She says to me. "But for now, I will have to pretend as the Commander of the Cohort. Is that fine with you?"
You: "Of course, Amber. I'll support you in any way I can. We're in this, alright?" I assure her with sincerity.
Her face contorted that to a sweet and loving smile with a pink tint on her face that could melt anyone's heart. Even mine is, actually. It made my heart beat faster, and her soft gaze made it sure that it would go for hours.
She went in close to me and embraced me in a gentle hug. This surprised me. She never was like this, at least I never did see her like so. It was a pleasant surprise nonetheless. As a gentleman myself, I returned the affection equally.
Amber: "Thank you, (Y/n)." She says to me as we break the hug. "I'll be waiting outside of the North gates."
You: "Of course. We'll be there soon, Amber."
She leaves me to myself with her light brown braid swinging in the cold wind as I stand there, looking at her, still a little surprised of that interaction. Not that I'm complaining.
I pick out something from one of my pockets and pull off a feather of bright red, blue, and yellow colouring. It's one of that Cupid servant's feathers that I got back at Harrowgate. It shed it somehow. That book certainly had a way for words. It said that whenever a Cupid's servant meet another one of its kind from an opposite gender, they are destined to be partners in life. And it just so happened that Amber had one with her, somehow.
