(Still Anthony's POV)
"My... My what?" Quinn looked confused, angry, scared and like she was about to cry at the same time.
"You heard me." I wasn't going to repeat it, I felt like she would faint or mentally break down.
"But he's.. He isn't, no he can't be alive." I nodded that he was. "No," she insisted.
"He lives, he's the reason I brought you here. Please listen to me."
"I can't. Wait, can you send him a message?" I sort of figured she would ask me to do that and I sorta guessed what she would say. "Tell him, tell him that I hate him." Tears filled up her eyes. She blinked, and they rolled down her cheeks.
"Tell him that I never want to see him, tell him he should have been there when I grew up and that for all I care, he can kill himself. Tell him goodbye."
"Quinn, wait," I begged.
"You -- you're begging?" She sounded disbelieving.
"You can't join WAHQ, they aren't... they aren't good people, they just--"
"Yea, I don't care. I do what I want, 10 boy. You can't stop me, and you won't. You aren't my dad, and even if you were, you have no control over me. You can tell him since he was never there, I hope he got used to being alone, because he will be for a long time now."
"Quinn--"
"No, no more Quinn anymore. Leave. me. alone." She ordered, the tears still rolling down her face.
"I don't fear you, Danger Girl."
"Oh, so now it's 'Danger Girl' again?"
"I'm sorry. Please, don't join them. Please..." She turned around and ran through the woods, probably not caring where she was going. I told master every word of what happened in the woods.
"Follow her." He ordered me. I nodded.
"Yes, master."
We join Lambro Lazarou (Quinn's father) in his throne room, where he has just ordered Anthony away.
As soon as Anthony was gone, Lambro took the closest object (Which unfortunately happened to be one of his undead guards) and threw it against the black marble wall of his throne room. The skeletal Guard landed in a heap of bones and clothes on the floor. The Guard quickly rearranged himself and ran back to his master's side, ready to be thrown again if needed.
But his master didn't throw him again. He did something way worse; he broke down into tears as he took in what his own daughter had just said. Tears of anger at himself, at his ex-wife, at this unfair universe.
"Why? My Quinn, my Ninny, why? Why can't you remember?" He kept mumbling to himself. The mumbles slowly grew into screams, his black hair continuously falling over his bright green eyes, which were full of tears. He finally threw the waiting Gaurd once more, before he left the room in anger, frustration and sadness, leaving behind him only the heap of bones and clothes that used to be (and soon will be again) one of his Skeletal Guards.
I'll do a profile on Lambro in the next chapter, hope you enjoyed this one! Check out XxSilverMarexX's profile, they're absolutely amazing and my favourite writer in history of the universe and I have no words to describe how amazing they are but they inspired me to write this book, got me into K-pop, introduced me to Wattpad and a lot more things that would take forever to type up. This chapter was sorta short, sorry. Please comment how many words you would want the next one to be. Thank you for reading and goodbye. *bows*
