The Official Breakup Part 1

Weiss POV

He found out. He knows of my real relationship with Neptune. So now I guess it's time for the official breakup. I walk to his dorm to knock, but for some reason I'm hesitant. I don't know why. I take a deep breath and knock.

The door opened to reveal Brans answering the door.

"What do you want Ice Queen?" he asked with a bit of bitterness in his voice.

"Brans. Tone it down please. I'm sure she came to officially call off the relationship. Besides, it's one way or the other. She decided to be the one to call it off first," Cyan said as she slightly glared at me.

"H-How did you know?" I asked, dumbfounded at the  exact prediction she had made.

"I seen it happen a lot between our childhood. All of them from Brans," she giggled a little bit.

"Hey!" Brans retorted.

"I'm just saying. You were always like that until you told yourself that you wouldn't date anymore," Cyan said as she giggled.

"Yeah. I know."

"Now I have to go through this again because of you!" Cyan yelled as she looked at me.

"Hey! What was that supposed to mean?" I asked clearly offended.

"What the hell do you think, Princess?" she asked me in a hostile manner.

"Look I'm just here to break up with Y/N. I want to do it as pol--" I was cut off by Sapphire this time.

"Politely? You and him broke up the moment he saw you banging Neptune. Weiss, I don't want to be the one friend who is taking sides, but I am. I am highly disappointed that you wouldn't tell him. I even confronted you when I first found out. You told me you had a larger connection with Neptune than with Y/N. Isn't that right?" he asked as he looked at me with stern eyes. When I looked closely I could see bags under his eyes.

"Have you been--" low and behold I was interrupted again by him.

"Answer the damn question Weiss," he said with a sternness he would always show when his team was being idiotic. I've moved past it because Ruby has him, but I like that about him.

"That's r-right," I said as I now feared what was coming since I've never seen him pissed off.

"What did I tell you after you said that?" he asked again.

"Tell Y/N as soon as I can," I replied as I started getting quieter.

"And?" he asks.

Ruby POV

I an getting worried about Sapphire. I've been seeing bags under his eyes. He tells me not to worry, but he's been falling asleep in the day, sometimes when we're walking to our next class.

Today, I was heading to his dorm when I saw Weiss. I sigh before walking up before hearing Sapphire.

"For the whole semester, you promised to tell Y/N about your feelings for Neptune, but look what happened. He almost killed himself in our restroom. If it weren't for Yang, he would be hospitalized. I've been staying up all night so he wouldn't kill himself while everyone was asleep. I told you to that it would be worse if he found out himself. What the hell just happened right now Weiss? Huh!?" he slammed his fist into the wall making a hole.

"Sapphire?" I quietly called out. I've never seen this side of him before. Probably because he was so calm around everyone. I looked around and saw everyone with the same expression. As mine, worry. No one has seen him like this. He looked at me and I quickly went to go comfort him.

"Saph, you ok?" Brans asked him as he looked over at us.

"I'm fine. I guess I'm so tired I let it slip," Sapphire said as he chuckled. I looked at him with more worry.

"How about I spend the night here until Y/N gets better? I can watch him while you're asleep," I offered.

"It's fine Rubes. I can handle it," he said as he looked at me and smiled. I see the bags under his eyes. It breaks my heart to see him like this, but it warms my heart that he would go this far for his friends.

Weiss POV

I watched on as Sapphire and Ruby were conversing with each other. Y/N tried to kill himself? Everything was starting to hit me hard. I was about to start crying until Brans spoke up.

"Save it for when Neptune breaks up with you," he said to me before I got angered.

"Hey! I'm still here to break up with Y/N! I'm trying to end our relationship so I can go with Neptune!" I yelled out as they all looked dumbfounded. "What?" I asked before they pointed behind me.

I turn around and I see Y/N there. His eyes wide and a face of horror.
