Feeling Fixed

Y/N POV

Yang and I were put in a two-on-two  sparring match against Sapphire and Ruby. Both of us went to our corners before bringing out our weapons. Sapphire brought out Anarchy and Agony, Ruby brought out Crescent Rose, Yang brought Ember Celica, I have W/N. A sword that transforms into a hammer and a shotgun. So in range we were at a disadvantage. Though we had ways to close in the distance rather quickly.

All of us had gotten ready for the sparring match. Ruby already decided how she was going to fight. Sapphire may have been messing with my head. As strategical as I am, he finds ways to outsmart me. Anyways, I look over to Yang before I nodded. I ran in with my weapon in its sword mode. Yang shot herself towards Sapphire to lock him in a close ranged combat situation. Ruby blasted herself towards me and prepared to slash at me. I rolled myself out of the way and began an upward slash.

3RD POV

Y/N prepared an upward slash towards Ruby before Sapphire kicked Yang out of the way before transforming his Anarchy into its gun mode and shot at Y/N, knocking W/N off course and aimed for Yang before she got in close again. Yang sidestepped to avoid the incoming dust projectiles before shooting herself forward to get in closer again. Ruby used the advantage her boyfriend used to slash at Y/N with Crescent Rose. Effectively hitting him and knocking his Aura down a bit. Y/N rolled himself to safety before transforming W/N into its hammer mode. He ran in again towards Ruby and limbo slided under a sideways slash Ruby had ready for him. Afterwards he spun counterclockwise aiming his hammer at Ruby and knocking her towards a wall. He tossed the hammer as he waited for Ruby to recover.

"Damn, that stung Y/N! When did you learn how to do that?" Ruby said in a sort of dazed state before getting up.

"Saw it somewhere. Wanted to try it."

Sapphire transformed Anarchy back into its sword form as he charged at Yang. Agony up and ready in case Y/N would decide to charge into him. Ruby soon blasted towards Y/N before stopping just short of him and blasted backwards before moving her scythe to shoot at him more. Yang blasted herself towards Sapphire and unleashed a barrage of punches onto his shield before suddenly going for a leg sweep. Sapphire quickly turned himself and moved Agony to protect himself from Yang's next punch. Ruby kept shooting at Y/N before he ran straight in and jumped over Ruby while transforming W/N into its shotgun form and shot her. Sapphire looked over to Y/N and knocked Yang away by transforming Agony into its cover mode, and charged over to Y/N.

"Come at me!" Y/N yelled as he charged back and transformed W/N into its hammer mode and swung at Sapphire.

Sapphire rolled out of the way and charged at Y/N with a forward sword thrust. Y/N quickly transformed W/N into its sword mode and parried Sapphire's blade before twirling and charged with a sword thrust of his own. Sapphire rolled out of the way and jumped up into the air before spinning with his sword and heading towards Y/N. Y/N blocked the attack before running and slashing at Sapphire.

Yang and Ruby ceased fighting and stared in awe at the spectacle that Y/N and Sapphire were providing for them. Both seemed to be in a battle to the death. Y/N and Sapphire were so graceful in their attacks it seemed almost like they had gone through this many times.

"Damn. It's almost like a cutscene in a video game," Yang said as she stood there mouth agape.

"Many video games combined," Ruby brought up. They both looked up to the board to see Y/N and Sapphire's Aura going down steadily. Only to remember they were also sparring each other.

Sapphire moves Agony behind his back to block an incoming attack from Y/N before Y/N sweeps his leg under Sapphire to knock him off his feet. Sapphire tries to do the same thing again before Y/N grabs Agony and slams Sapphire into the ground. Sapphire gets winded for a second before Y/N picked him up and threw him towards Yang and Ruby before running towards him and the others.

"Not going to use that old trick again are you?" Y/N yelled before he shoulder bashed into Sapphire, knocking his Aura into the yellow.

Sapphire was still catching his breath as he was getting up from the last few hits on him. Y/N then picked him up before throwing Sapphire again.

"Damn Y/N I never knew you were capable of doing something like this. In the tournament, you'll definitely be chosen in the second round," Ruby said with excitement.

"Maybe. I'm a bit rusty anyways," Y/N replies.

"I'd love to spar against you later Y/N," Yang says in an impressed tone.

Then Sapphire ran in and tackled Y/N to the wall before he threw him towards the other two before Y/N rolled to recover his fall. He brought out W/N in its sword mode and went for a diagonal slash towards Sapphire. Sapphire had brought his shield out to block the slash before sending one of his own.
