"You're not wearing this." He sighs, pulling a body suit out of my backpack and throwing it on the floor behind him. I roll my eyes and pick it up, throwing it on the bed. I rummage through my dresser, picking out another outfit that I thought was better than the one that Joker had thrown. I stand next to him, holding it up so he could see it. "Hell no."

"What am I supposed to wear? A turtleneck?" I ask, throwing my bodysuit on top of the other one. He gives me a devious look before flipping my backpack over and dumping all of its contents out.

"If you take me up on my offer, I could call the boys right now," he chimes, watching as I gather all my things together again and toss them back in my bag. "You'd never have to dress like this again. Except for me, of course."

I chuckle, throwing the first bodysuit back in my bag before zipping it up. "I told you I would let you know in a few more days."

I motion for him to stand. When he does, I hoist my bag onto my shoulder and lead him back to his bedroom. Before I go, I have to lock him back up. We may trust each other, but that doesn't mean he won't try to leave.

"Princess," he says, taking my hand as I push the door open. "There's no telling how much longer we have with each other."

I sigh, knowing he was right. Although I hadn't heard from Bruce, I knew he could pop up whenever he wanted.

"Joker," I sigh, sitting on the bed next to him and locking his cuff back around his wrist. "I will let you know by tomorrow."

"You know you don't have to be so formal anymore, right?" He chuckles, adjusting the cuff on his wrist. "You could call me J just like everyone else does."

I press my lips together as I stand at the end of his bed, contemplating on dropping the formalities. He already knew I had somewhat of a soft spot for him and it's not like calling him J would give that away more than I already have.

"Or daddy," he says, a smirk on his face as he looks up at me. "If you see fit."

I roll my eyes, moving toward the door and pushing it open. "And Joker it stays. I'll see you when I get home."

I gently close the door behind me before moving to lock the door but I didn't have the key. It wasn't on the hook next to the door and it wasn't around my wrist. I check my bag, I pat my pockets, I even check my bra, but it was nowhere to be found. I furrow my eyebrows, thinking about where I might've had it last. It couldn't be in my bedroom because I was just in there. The only place that I could think that I saw it last was in the kitchen.

I bound down the stairs, hearing the ding of the elevator as I neared the kitchen. Since when did my place become the place for everyone to go? I slow up as the elevator door opens and without even saying hello, Damon, Angel, Ace, and Suki come in, walking right past me. Damon had a sour look on his face while the girls expressions were all cautious.

"Oh, it's nice to see you guys, too after almost two weeks," I chuckle, furrowing my eyebrows, slowly they walk into the kitchen and I follow, becoming bothered by their standoffish mood. They all take up various spots in the kitchen, watching me carefully as I watch them. "Why are you here? I thought we were gonna meet up at Angel's."

"We need to talk to you," Damon states, crossing his arm as he leans against the island. I furrow my eyebrows, looking at all four of them. "About Joker."

"What about him?" I huff, but I barely finish my sentence before someone continues.

"Are you coddling him?" Ace asks, tilting her head. I look at Damon who was watching me with a stern eye. His expression softens and he averts his gaze as I read him like a book. I immediately knew he ran back to the girls and snitched on what he thought he knew. He might've been right, but he didn't know for sure.
