I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. As I walked through the halls, past Taylor's room, I got an earful of something unpleasant going on in there. A girl's moans were seeping through the walls. How could Luke sleep with all that unwanted noise. I went back to bed, trying to fall asleep again, but it was no use. I lied awake for half an hour or so scrolling on Instagram.

In the morning, I came downstairs in Luke's t-shirt and his sweatpants. He was still upstairs, sleeping like a baby. I walked into the kitchen to see a brunette girl, pouring herself a glass of orange juice. She wore an oversized Packers jersey that most likely belonged to Taylor. Most likely she was the girl that kept me up last night.

"Hi!", she jumped.

"Hi?", I replied in more of a questioning way.

"I'm Victoria, nice to meet you", she held her hand out towards me.

"Nice to meet you too", I lied, "I'm Selena". I shook her perfectly-manicured hand.

"Are you Luke's girlfriend?"

"Yea." I smiled.

"Aw you guys are cute together. You're pretty."

"Thanks. So are you." And she was gorgeous. Clearly Taylor had a type.

"Well I'm gonna go take a shower now. I have to get going. But we should hang out sometime."

"Sure. That'll be cool." I said, pretending to be genuine. Another lie, though.

"Okay!", she went upstairs.

I heard the TV on, so I went into the living room. Taylor sat on the couch, with his Hanes-socked feet propped up on the coffee table in front of him"You have fun last night?", I asked, crossing my arms.

" Yeah . How about you? You still look pretty tired." I guess my under-eye bags were extra apparent today.

"I couldn't sleep. I don't know why, I mean it wasn't like there was so much noise coming from the room down the hall.", I said adding much sarcasm.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Did Tori and I keep you up all night?" He asked. I knew he found satisfaction in the fact that he did this to me. '"Whatever", I rolled my eyes, leaving him and his TV alone.
