a tingling sensation
at four am it arises
morphing into a hurricane
spitting venom through her veins.
spinning into numbness
an ember losing hope
a tree shedding its leaves
a girl embracing her tenebrosity.
empty sachets bestrew her floor
bedizened with glass shivers
losing her sanity in a facet
of infructous life.
a sufferer of monophobia
wrapping its thorns around her neck
yet a crown of bejeweled hearts
she wears upon her head.
