My Hero (Goku x Reader)

I don't know how he did it, but he beat everyone but Goku. I had no idea that he was really this strong. Goku was mad, and I mean mad mad. The only ones who we knew for sure were alive were Piccolo and Vegeta, which left Gohan, Krillin, Trunks, and 18 in unknown states. "I don't get it, Josh, why do you only go after (y/n)? The only times I've seen bad guys target one person, it's been me," Goku said. I really was curious.  I heard about Android 16, who had only gone after Goku because his creator programmed him to kill him because of his strength. Then there's me, I'm weak, I always have been. The only fight that I had ever won had turned out to not be a win after all.

"Well, if I get what I want, you won't have to find out," Josh said.

"Wait, Josh, are you from the future?!" Goku said. If I hadn't met Trunks, I'd be even more lost than I already was.

"Yeah, and we can drop the whole 'Josh' schtick, you can call me by my real name. I'm Android 24," he said. Yeah, I'm definitely not calling him that.

"But why were you so nice to me for so long?" I said.

"Because, I needed you to be able to live with me after you lost your parents, I wasn't originally planning on killing you, I was just trying to keep you away from Goku for as long as possible so that you would be weak," Josh said.

"Okay, but you want to kill me now because?" I said.

"Oh that one's easy. I went back to my future, and nothing had changed, so I knew that I had failed. Since I didn't keep the two of you apart for long enough, I need to kill you," he said.

"That won't happen," Goku said. "I won't go down until I know that she's safe."

Josh chuckled and began to charge up an attack. "Oh, this is gonna be fun," he said. Goku began charging up an attack as well. I wanted to intervene so bad, but I didn't want to distract Goku. They both fired and neither one of them was hit. I realized that if Goku were to somehow get killed, that would be it, and the same went for me. I quickly got to my feet and forced the bag of senzu beans into Goku's hands.

"Take care of yourself and the others, I'll hold him off," I said.

"(Y/n), you can't," Goku said.

"Goku, I'm the one he came for. This is my fight, you should understand as well as anybody," I said.

He turned to go to the others. "Whatever, but if you get hurt, I'm coming back in," he said. I nodded in response.

I turned back to Josh. "I have one more question. If this whole multiverse thing is true, how did you know that I was going to lose my parents?" I said.

Josh chuckled and looked up at me. "(Y/n), do you really think that what happened was an accident?" he said. "I knew because I was what killed them."

For whatever reason, this completely caught me off guard. Although it explained a lot, I couldn't believe that I could have been so stupid as to let him into my life. All of this could have been avoided. I didn't need him to meet Goku, he said it himself. All of the hell that I had gone through had no effect on my life. I felt tears falling from my eyes as some type of static or wind carried my hair up. I had never been so mad in my life. All of this was for nothing, absolutely nothing.

I let out a scream out of pure rage as tears continued to pour from my eyes. "Dammit, no!" I heard Josh yell.

"What is it now?! Did you not want me to get mad? How stupid are you?!" I screamed.

"I'm stopping this now!" Josh yelled, flying at me. Somehow, I pushed him to the side with ease.

"Come on, after all of this, you're taking it easy on me?!" I screamed. He put me through hell, and now that I'm ready to fight back, he's not trying.

I glanced over and saw that Vegeta was wide awake. His jaw might has well been on the ground the way he was looking at me. He was probably surprised that I was fighting instead of Goku, which was understandable. I jerked my head back to look at Josh, who was charging at me again. I hit him full force and knocked him back a considerable amount.

"Get up and fight me, coward!" I yelled at him out of pure rage.

"She has no idea," I heard Vegeta say. I get it, he beat you and you beat me, but I could not care any less.

I began to charge up my signature attack. I wasn't going to have him keep holding back. With this one, he either had to go full force or get killed.

"No holding back!" I yelled. "Phantom electric axe!"

"Phantom wha-OH NO!" Josh screamed as my attack hit him in his torso, sending sparks flying and splitting him into two pieces. The fear in his voice let me know that his "wish for immortality" was a bluff.

I watched the life leave his eyes, and I knew that this was all over for good. I was still pissed. "I finally fight him back and he doesn't even try!" I yelled.  I looked over at Goku, who had a massive grin on his face. "What?"

"I had no idea!" he squeaked.

"Goku, what the hell are you talking about?" I said.

"You're a Saiyan!" he basically screamed at me.
