I'm about to go on a Jordan Lynde roll here since she's one of my favorite Wattpad authors. Although, I'm not going to feature all of her books since not all of them were to my taste (I'm quite picky). She's really good, though! So if you like these books I'm about to recommend, chances are you'll like the others as well. Give them a try, eh?
"A Proscriptive Relationship"
Author: Jordan Lynde (XxSkater2Girl16xX)
(it's a student/teacher story but please, for your own sake, don't judge this one)
Summary:
Holly's new, young teacher has a dark past, and a dangerous future. She soon finds herself charmed by his ways, and gets thrown into the chaos. Who knew having an ex-gangster for a teacher could be so troublesome? As Holly and Mr. Heywood grow closer, more questions about his past come upon Holly, as does danger. What is Mr. Heywood keeping from Holly? And why is it so bad? But most importantly, if she falls for him, could their relationship survive? After all... it would be a proscriptive relationship.

My Thoughts:
You know how when you've read so many Wattpad books and have gotten to know so many characters that some of them just merge into one, or becomes completely forgotten? I have a serious memory issue so I can't even remember half of the books I've read or what they were about. Wattpad can be so... redundant sometimes don't you think? Well, that's not the case for this one.
If there are two characters I remember as if I just finished meeting them, it's Holly Evers and Chris Heywood. I doubt you'd forget "Heywood" after reading it. And I read the entire thing twice.
Yes, it's about a teacher/student relationship. I don't normally read these types of books much. In fact, I think I've only read two or three so far, but this is definitely worth your time. I give you my word.
What I love about APR is how normal-paced it is. Unlike other stories, it doesn't consist of the cliche "I loved you from the moment I met you and your despicable personality". With Holly and Chris, it was as if they really were made for each other. Well, they were. What I meant was that the author made their relationship crystal clear. We know why Holly likes Chris, and why Chris loves Holly so much. Plus, they don't fight often. When they fight, though, it actually makes sense unlike those mindless bickering you find in other rom-com books. What I admire most about Jordan Lynde's books is how the conversations between characters seem so natural. It looks as if the author recorded the entire thing, then converted the record into print. The story is filled with cute and sweet moments that will make you "aww" to the core. Plus, there's none of that love triangle bull that just pisses everybody off since it's obvious who gets who.
The characters are just absolutely adorable. Despite Chris being the older one and all, there are times when Holly stands as the mature one in the relationship, not that Chris isn't mature since he's seriously hot when he's acting like a grown up. They truly balance each other out. I can go on and on about my favorite couple but I want you to see them for yourself! Give it a go, won't ya? It's not your average teen fiction. I don't even understand how it hasn't been published yet. Seriously. Not that I'm complaining or anything. I don't want it off Wattpad.
Remember: Feel free to comment what you think if you've already read it or just finished reading it! I'd love to hear your side!
Cheers!
