~ Jake's POV ~
I paused for a long moment processing all of this. "A-Al... I.. you've... you've felt this w-way...?" Jake asked timidly. Albert nodded, his cheeks an adorable cherry red. "I've always liked you... but it took Lana leaving me to really open my eyes... to see how important you are to me." Albert said. I blushed even harder. I clutched his hand and looked him in his chocolate colored eyes. "I promise you I can treat you better." I Said. Albert looked up at me. "I don't need any special treatment, Jake." He said. I cupped my palm against his cheek. "But you do." I Said with a smile. I watched him blush even more, making my heart pound against my chest. "Well... I have a video to put together.. how about I make it up to you with dinner tomorrow night?" I asked. Albert's eyes lit up and he smiled. "Make it a date." He said nodding. I smiled and blushed. "I'll pick you up at 5." I Said. He smiled and hugged me tight. I embraced him warmly, tipping him and picking him up off his feet. Albert chuckled softly. I gingerly set him down and kissed his hand. He blushed even more and playfully yanked his hand away. I ruffled his hair and chuckled. "I'll see you then." He said, walking to his car. I nodded as he got into his car. I waved and smiled softly as I watched him pull out of the driveway and drive down the road away from my house.
