~Jake's POV~

We walked inside and Lana chatted a bit before going home. As I shut Albert's front door I turned him. He was standing at the hallway table. "Do... you want me to leave? I understand if you want some privacy" I offered. Albert quickly shook his head. "N-No! I don't.. want to be alone.." he whispered shakily. I understood that, this was probably scary for him. I walked over and hugged him tightly.

~Albert's POV~

Jake's gentle embrace was firm and loving as my beating heart felt like it was running a marathon. I hugged him back and buried my face against his chest. I sniffled. He stroked his strong hands through my hair and hushed me soothingly. He lifted my head and pressed a soft kiss onto my lips. Our lips twisted and the kiss became more passionate. His hands moved down to around my waist. I know this really shouldn't have happened, but it felt so relaxing to focus on him, not Rust. I felt his hands grip my hips and pick me up. I blushed out of pure embarrassment as he carried me to the living room. He sat me down on the couch and kissed me all over, making me smile. He turned on the tv.

About an hour passed. We were watching TV as I was curled up on his lap in a blanket, his arms around my waist. He looked at me and we made eye contact. He kissed me passionately and cupped the back of his hand to my head. I quickly wrapped my arms around his neck as we both collapsed back onto the couch, him on top of me as we kissed. Honestly everything that happened after was amazing, way better than thinking about Rust as the TV blared. But I won't go into those details.
