Violet☾:

I woke up the next morning beside Shawn. After our midnight meal, we passed out together. Shawn's movement and being blinded by the sun woke me up. I really didn't feel like moving today.

"Morning," Shawn mumbled before kissing my cheek.

I tried to say 'good morning' but it came out as a grumble.

Shawn chuckled as I felt his arm wrap around my waist. It kinda felt nice.

"We should hang out today."

"How come?" I moved my body to face him as I rubbed my eyes, seeing the little dots afterward.

"Why not? I feel like we haven't hung out just you and me in a while," I never noticed how messy his hair gets in the morning.

I nodded softly, "Yeah, we could."

"Why, did you have plans today?" I watched his eyebrows scrunch together as he waited for my reply. Was he getting upset with me?

"No, Shawn. We can hang out together. But after we eat," I leaned up and gave his cheek a peck before I sat up.

"You stay here. I'll go make it," That boy sat up so fast and ran downstairs like a kid at an amusement park.

I guess I have been kind of a jerk to him. That little of communication made him so happy. What the hell am I doing? I'm crushing on a girl and dating a guy at the same time. I don't want to hurt him, but I feel like he deserves a right to know. Fuck, I always screw myself over.

I stayed in Shawn's bed and watched reruns of Parks and Recreation. I forced myself to stay awake so I wouldn't disappoint Shawn. I looked through my phone and resisted the urge to text Penelope. I need to take a break and not seem so desperate. Having her shirt on wasnt helping so I changed into one of Shawn's. This crush just gets worse and worse for me...

After going pee, I came out to him holding a tray with two plates filled with food and two glasses of orange juice. I couldn't help, but smile. He deserves so much better....

"This is amazing, babe. Thank you," I sat on his bed and bit my lip as he put the tray on my lap.

"I made your favorite: chocolate chip pancakes," His smile was so genuine. He really is sweet.

Shawn and I ate everything as we watched tv together. We bonded over the show and so to say it was actually really nice. I was feeling happy. After we finished, we washed the dishes and dried them together. His parents were out of town for some sort of family emergency. He didn't really know his cousin they went to go see so he decided to stay behind. He also didn't want to leave his dog behind that he loves dearly. His pup was an Akita breed. He was well trained and friendly as ever. Shawn wanted one since he was young and took responsibility a couple years ago to get a job and collect money until he had enough to adopt one. The love he has for that dog is so precious.

"We should take him out for a walk. He didn't get one yesterday," Shawn pointed out as he pets Jasper gently.

"Sure, let me put pants on then we can go," I giggled as I began running up the stairs back to his room.

Shawn and I made ourselves presentable before we headed out. I grabbed Jasper's bag that Shawn made for him for whenever he goes out. We walked the sidewalk toward the park and watched Jasper walk infront of us with a little pep in his step.

"He gets so hyper when you take him out. It's so cute."

"He likes to play. Of course, he's gonna get excited!" Shawn smiled softly before letting Jasper run off with the other dogs in the park.
