(A/N) This is like a filler chapter kind of thing, as the title suggests. You don't have to read it, cause it doesn't have much meaning, but some things could be useful to know in context to the rest of the story. At least I think it could? Since I'm very inspired, the next part will be up by tomorrow at latest, maybe tonight. Anyways, enjoy the story?
Wonwoo's POV
"Get a chime your dimwit!" I heard someone shout from downstairs.
"Knock louder or call me instead of breaking into my house your moron!" I shouted back. I could hear him walking up the stairs and all the way to my door.
"You're such welcoming to your guests huh?" The now visible Chinese male asked, faking his annoyance. "Cute cat, by the way"
I let out a snort in reply and a little "Thanks"
"Anyways," he continued "Should we get ready now and chill a bit before going if there is any time left?"
"Sure, you'll just have to guide me, because as you said, I'm uneducated" I flashed a smiled and he shot one back.
"Okay then. Let's get down to business!"
"Ew, Jerry. Who says that anymore?"
"Me, obviously. Where did you get that nickname from btw?"
"Mingyu" we answered in sync. He said it as a question, and I, as a statement. Then, both of us laughed and started getting ready.
He went straight to my closet and searched through it before throwing whatever he found appropriate for me to wear at me. A pair of loose, black, ripped jeans hit me in the face and a black t-shirt with a cool print was aimed at my stomach.
"Wear those," he instructed.
Junhui pulled out a pair of loose, black trousers and a white button up from the bag he brought. I guess, he had everything he needed for the night in there. Then we both stripped down to only wearing our underwear like we had known each other for ages. I looked at his stomach as he was buttoning his shirt. Impressive. Though it wasn't super toned, he had a six-pack. Maybe if I started working out I would get one? Would that be cool? Maybe I should just keep my soft, skinny image.
"You're so skinny, do you even eat?"
"Yes... I'll start eating normally now" I answered with a smile, hoping it wouldn't get awkward.
"Good. If you don't, I'll have to force you! Or more like I'll force Mingyu to force you"
"Why?"
"Because Myeongho and I will be going to China on Monday" He smiled at me.
"What!?"
"Chill. I'll only be gone for two to three weeks. I haven't seen my family in forever, I really miss them. Don't miss me too much, yeah?"
"God, Jun, why would I miss you in the first place?" I said teasingly.
"Hey!"
"HAHA- OW! I was kidding, chill."
"Don't fuck with me, I know martial arts"
... We both burst out laughing and continued putting on clothes and getting ready. As Jun had predicted, it did take a long time, because we ended up fooling around and having a talent show which was basically us dancing and/or singing along to whichever song came on shuffle.
"You see, Woo, the key to looking cool at a party is to look like you didn't put much effort into your look, but rather slay naturally. Sometimes it's okay to go full out as well, but in this case, we are going to look simple and classy"
"Okay?"
I sat on my bed and watched silently as the older male did his own hair and makeup. It looked like he was a professional and it made me feel incompetent and like a newbie, even though I had been using makeup for years. Maybe it was time, I stopped with the solid eyeliner and started exploring the different styles of makeup. It was time, I started seeing it as a form of art instead of being so basic. It was time, I started widening my eyes with colors instead of black.
"Wow, I look hot" Jun smiled at his reflection and walked towards me with eyeshadow and a brow pencil in his hands.
"You do" He cooed and flashed a shiny smile.
"Thanks. Now, let's get you done!"
He started filling in my brows and later went in with a peachy nude color on my eyelids. It ended up looking good. Even though it wasn't very visible, it added something to my look.
(A/N: their looks are the ones in the media)
"You look good, Won! Someone is surely gonna go out there and get some d" He said winking.
I sent him a judging and disgusted look. "Ew, Jun. I am definitely not"
"You're such a party pooper! I made you look hot, and you're not even going to take the opportunity to get some" I let out a shushed laugh.
"Why are we friends again?"
"Because I'm awesome," He said confidently. I just nodded as a reply.
"Hey, Junnie? How are you so confident all the time? I could really use some of that from time to time"
He looked at me. "Truthfully, I used to be very insecure, and am it still. I just started to tell myself that if I convince myself I am confident, look good, am funny and whatsoever., then I'll start actually feeling like it's true. And it is working. I know I might seem cocky at times, but it's my way of keeping my self-esteem up" He smiled slightly. I didn't really reply, I just looked at him. No answer was needed, anyway.
Silence filled the room for a while and we laid on my bed. Both already kind of exhausted from dancing and singing plus getting ready. We were, however, going to power up again, once we arrived at the party. I was sure. Especially after consuming some alcohol.
-time skip-
We sat on the bus on our way to Hansol's apartment. He had, just like me and Junhui, moved into his own apartment for some reason unknown to me. That made him able to throw parties whenever. Apparently, he did it quite often, because he wanted to impress Seungkwan. At least that was what Junhui told me.
"Why do Hansol live in Yeoksam? I mean the rest of us live in Sinsa and Cheongdam and we go to school in Cheongdam too." I asked, to start a conversation and because I was genuinely curious.
"Have you ever heard of Brother Hood Kitchen?" I shook my head. "It's this American restaurant located in Yeoksam. First of all, Hansol can't cook for shit and he had been there with his family once so when he saw there was an empty apartment fairly close to the restaurant, so he moved here"
"So he moved here because of food? Funny, it's so like Hansol"
"I know, right?"
-fast forward to when they arrive-
The music was very loud and I questioned if I would be able to endure it, but ensured myself it would be fine. That was what parties were like anyway. We were immediately offered a red cup of something the moment we stepped in. Everything went fast from there. I heard Jun shout a name -I think it was Hoseok?- and then he was gone. Straight after that, I was grabbed by my wrist and dragged to a room. In it were Hansol, Seungkwan, Jihoon, Jisoo, Myeongho, Jeonghan and Soonyoung who dragged me here.
"Hey, Wonwoo!" Said Hansol, followed by the others.
"We're playing truth or dare, you want to join?" Jeonghan said.
"I don't see why not" I smiled and sat down between Jisoo and Soonyoung, and like that, we continued the game.
