I wrote this the day the Winter Olympics started, but somehow I couldn't update Wattpad, but here it is!~

I took a deep breath in as I looked at the slope before me. A double black diamond, for my team. This was the first unisex competition for the Winter Olympics in history, so I had to be ready. I was the only girl competing against a of pro-level man, so I had to try my hardest. It was (Home Nation) against Japan, the final round. I had beaten the Samoan man, the Italian girl, the Cuban boy, and the Korean male as well. I was actually pretty relieved I only had to go against this guy. How hard could it be?
I watched as the lift took me up to the slope. Breathing out, I calmed myself as my coach held my hand.
"You're going to be fine, (Y/N)," he reassured. I smiled and thanked him. I was finally on the hill, when I saw who I was going against. My face flushed instantly.
A handsome Japanese man with a sharp jawline, beautiful grey eyes, a muscular build, a tuft of fluffy white hair upon his head, sticking out over the rest of his ebony locks, and a scar across his nose bridge, was standing besides me, fixing his snowboard.
"That's Shiro?!" I yelped, looking at my coach who was giving a suggestive smile to me.
"Yeah... You don't happen to like him, do you?" my coach asked, placing a hand on my shoulder. I blushed.
"N-No!" I stuttered, moving away. This took the attention of Shiro himself.
"Oh, you must be (Y/N), nice to meet you!" he said, smiling, holding his hand out.
"Y-Yeah... Nice to meet me too! I-I mean nice to meet yu-too! I-I mean you! Nice to meet you too!" I stammered, shaking his hand quickly. He only chuckled and gave me another grin.
"I know how you feel, nervous, huh-"
"I-I'M NOT NERVOUS- PSH NERVOUS ABOUT WHAT?!" I basically yelled, flailing my arms all over the place. I covered my face with my hands in embarrassment while my coach was howling with laughter.
"Sh-Shut up..." I mumbled, hitting them in the shoulder. Shiro laughed a little along with them.
"I mean about the competition," he said naively. I blushed and erased all the thoughts that went through my head.
"Y-Yeah, nervous about the competition," I whispered, looking at the snow. Shiro put a gentle hand on my shoulder.
"I know how you feel, it's hard doing this for the first time... And, I lost an arm doing it for the second." My eyes widened as he rolled up his sleeve, revealing his prosthetic arm. I covered my mouth with my hands.
"Sorry for your... loss," I said softly, looking at his eyes. They crinkled as he smiled sadly.
"It's fine, you got to lose to win some, right?" I nodded, in agreement.
"I wish you the best of luck, Shiro," I said as he put on his helmet and gear. He nodded.
"Same to you, (Y/N)." The buzzer started and he was off, racing like a speeding bullet. Holy moly, he was fucking good. Effortlessly gliding down the ramp like a swan glides through water, I knew he was meant for this. I didn't deserve to be here, next to this everlasting piece of beauty.
No wonder his name meant "White." He was born and raised for the snow. While I started late, never really catching onto anything. I bet I was the worst in my group. I slipped on my helmet and goggles as Shiro stopped in the snow. The crowd cheered, others holding up signs depicting the handsome male. I sighed and felt one tear run down my cheek.
Dammit, this was not a time to be crying! I wiped it away, and breathed out. My coach patted my back.
"You can do this, kiddo." I nodded and boarded my board. I was at the top of the hill, looking down. I was not going to let anyone down this time. I breathed in and out as I heard the buzzer. I slid down the hill, remembering the "dance" my coach had taught me. I hummed the tune in my head as I did the footwork. Once I was down, the crowd went silent, but them started cheering, louder than before.
I waved and blew kisses, smiling. I didn't think I was as good as Shiro. I never, ever thought that. The real surprise came when they handed me the gold medal. I started to cry, hands clasped over my mouth.
"Oh my god, is this happening?" I whispered, hugging my coach.
"My little pipsqueak did it, she beat a male in the first unisex Winter Olympics! I'm so proud!" he squealed, embracing me back. I heard a fake cough. I let go of my coach.
"Uh, Mr. Jimsky, may I have a word with (Y/N)? Privately?" Shiro asked, looking at me. My coach shrugged.
"She's all yours, boy." He left, leaving Shiro and I in the hallway. Shiro cleared his throat, breaking the awkward silence.
"Nice job today, (Y/N)," Shiro said, "You were amazing." I smiled and took his hand. He surprised me by kissing the back of it.
"Sh-Shiro..." I stuttered, "Wh-What are you doi- Mmph!" I felt his lips on mine. Oh. My. Gods. Shiro was kissing me. Despite my red-hot face, I kissed back, my lips pressing firmly against his. The kiss was short and sweet, full of passion.
"Sh-Shiro..." I whispered, looking into his eyes. He smiled warmly, grasping both of my hands.
"(Y/N), ever since I saw you training in Alaska, I knew I had to come find you, and tell you that I loved you. Your talent, I wish I had. Your passion, your drive, your... everything, I find perfect about you. Please, be my girlfriend," he said, getting down on one knee like he was proposing. I giggled and pulled him back up.
"How can I say no when you've already acted like we're married or something?" I said softly, touching the tip of his nose. He grinned and kissed me one more time, gingerly pressing me against the wall.
"Mmnn~" I hummed, burying my fingers into his soft locks of hair. He grasped my waist and pressed my figure to his masculine one. I gave him one last peck as we separated, hearing our coaches call our names.
"Well... I guess we have to go..." Shiro said, sadness in his voice. He squeezed my hand
"Yeah...." I replied, looking back at him, "But this isn't goodbye. We'll see each other tomorrow."
                              "A date?"
                              "Yeah, at 5:00."
                              "Sounds good."
"I'll see you then," I said, smiling. He let go of my hand.
"Yeah," he responded, hesitated for a bit, then said: "I love you." I blushed again, laughing happily.
                              "I love you too, Takashi."
