Chapter 15: Curse

Elsa's Pov

I was too in a hurry to go to school, I threw on some regular white shorts that reached my knees, misty blue short sleeve and white converse. I put my hair in a regular ponytail and walked out

"Anna!" I knocked on her door "I'm going to school early!" I ran downstairs and grabbed some pancakes that Uncle Olaf was making

"Where are you off to in such a hurry?" he asked flipping a pancake into a plate.

"I just am!" I was about to run out the door

"Elsa stop!" he yelled out, I froze and faced him "you know I don't like you hiding things from me"

"I'm not hiding anything" I admit

"Then why are you in a hurry?" I sighed

"It's just... there's a play at school and I wasn't planning to be in it... I was just going to go costumes and stuff. but the judges heard me singing and made me the lead.." I explained

"That's great!" he smiled brightly

"No! it's not! It's about a girl who's too dangerous to be around a boy she likes, her curse makes her kill! I don't want to be her knowing I have a curse similar to hers!" he thought for awhile

"So you don't want to be in it because of your powers?" his eyes looked to his side and he licked the inside of his cheek thinking, this was his 'I have no idea what to say' face. I nodded squinting my eyes at him "well if you didn't have your powers, would you do it?" where was he getting at?

"I think I'll do a lot if I never had my powers" I pointed out

"I think you should do the play, I mean, you told me that I can't tell you what to do, but you know you can't stop doing things you want to do just because of your powers"

"Do you even hear yourself? weren't you the one that told me I couldn't go to school because of my accidents. Why of a sudden your being cool with letting me be in something that I know I can hurt someone" I pointed at myself

"I know what I said, and I was thinking about it... it was wrong for me to trying to take you out of something you actually decided to go. this is the only place you actually went to after you hurt Anna. If you didn't have powers...would you do the play?" I bit my lower lips thinking

"Yeah... I guess" he smiled.

"You remember the words don't you?" I nodded

"Conceal it, don't feel it..."

"Don't let it show" he said with me. "remember that, use you gloves if you think something bad will happen, I don't see why the lead can't wear gloves. just be calm, okay?" I don't know... should I even do it? I took out my gloves from my bag and looked at them frowning

"I-I guess it'll be okay"

"I don't want you to over think anything Elsa, don't let this curse of yours take over your life, you lost so many years. try to make them up, be the little princess you always had to be. I know you can remember to keep calm..." he smiled. I sad smiled and hugged him

"Thanks Uncle Olaf... You know just what to say" I walked out eating the pancake I snatched earlier, I could've waited for Anna, but I wasn't the one to wait. I felt the fresh air hit me and took a deep breath.

I looked at the snow around me. how am I going to get rid of all this? The sun should be out to melt all this way, but there's dark clouds everywhere!

"E-a" why can't I get rid of this snow? how do I undo it? Is my powers just go one way and not the other? "Elsa!" I snap back to reality and saw Jack standing in front of me snapping his fingers
