Chapter Twenty Three - Late Night Snack
We were sitting on the dining table eating our dinner. We talked a lot to catch up with each other's life but we didn't talked about our parents.
None of them dare to bring that conversation up after my break down.
"So my sister is going to college in a few months!!!" Edward said happily.
"You're all grown up," Emmett said and fake a tear.
"We're so proud with you," Edward said with a big smiled.
"Thanks guys," I said with a big smiled on my face.
"Which college are you applying to?" Emmett asked as he took a bite of his dinner.
"Haven't thought of it yet,"
"Well, why don't you choose any college in this area so that we can live together," Edward said.
"Pretty good idea from your most idiot brother," Emmett said which earned him a glared from Edward.
"Let me think about it," I answered "I need to discuss this with grandma and grandpa,"
"Oh my God it's been awhile since the last time I had saw them," Edward said.
"I miss grandma's cook," Emmett said while closing his eyes.Probably imagining all the delicious food that my grandmother loves to cook.
"Well,I think you guys should visit them," I said.
"That's a great idea but we need you to be there with us,"
"Why?" I asked.
"Well to explain everything to them duuh.We don't want our grandparents to faint," Emmett said.
"Sounds logic enough. So we'll be visiting them when Alan's tour is over, okay?" I asked.
Both of them looked at each other than looked back at me.
"Why?"
"Because Alan invited me to join him.I can't just ditch him. That's rude,"
"You got a point," Edward said.
"When will the tour end?"
"Probably by the end of summer," I answered.
"That's quite a long time," Edward said.
"Can't you like skip one day?" Emmett asked.
"I'll try to see the situation first," I answered and they just nodded.
"Well let's clean the dishes and have family time," Edward said with a smiled.
Me and Emmett just agreed and started cleaning.
Me washing the dishes while Emmett dried the dishes and Edward cleaned the table.
It didn't really took us that long to cleaned up.
