Chapter Thirty-eight

"What a good game Walker. I must say that I might had went easy on you" Emma said as they walked out of the arcade.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night Warren," Alan chuckled as he looked up to admire God's creation.

The skies had turned from light orange to dark blue and a few stars were spot shining bright making the night felt like a living fantasy.

Both of them walked in silence side by side as they made their way to a near by restaurant to have their dinner without the mighty grumpy Elliott.

There was time when Emma was busy enjoying the surrounding Alan would looked at her and appreciate everything that she did.Even if she almost tripped herself because of a stray cat suddenly decided to jumped scared her out of nowhere.

Alan's tummy wasn't feeling right.He felt like God decided it be best to put a whole bunch of animals in there to made him feels something whenever he's around Emma.

"Do you think Aliens are real? Like what if they are real but terrified to come to earth cause we human are one of the cruelest creatures alive" Emma randomly said as they took their seat in a small cosy looking restaurant just a few feet from the arcade they were in.

"Probably that's the whole reason why they not planning their vacation to come visit us," Alan replied with a small laughed.

"I mean maybe if human are less cruel the aliens might stay here and start a family. Oh my God! Can you imagine tiny me but in green or blue version of skin with unique body structure running around?! That be cute " Emma said excitedly.

Alan just shook his head with a chuckled escaping from his soft lips.

"Are you like planning to rule over the world by marrying an alien?" Alan asked as he scanned the food menu.

"Well I haven't thought that far but now that you mentioned it maybe I'm gonna do just that,"

"I bet your children will look amazing no matter what or how they look like." he said as he placed down his order.

"And I will shower them with loves and care for them," she said with a small smiled as she played with the napkin."I wanna be the best parent that a child could ask for" she said again, now looking straight at Alan who had stopped looking at the menu to looked up at her.

"I don't want my child to be treated like how I was treated when my brothers were gone.I want them to feel safe,love and care all at once." she said again.

"A happy family?" Alan asked.

"Just a happy family is enough for me,"

"Well thanks for the dinner Olav even though I believe I can pay the bill as a gratitude for everything you did for me" Emma said.

"Don't worry about paying, it's nothing to be bothered about. Besides I enjoy spoiling you" he said with a winked.

Emma laughed as she looked away from him to hide her blushing face away from the view of Alan.

"So cheesy"

"Only for you"

"Liar, I bet you do that to Elliott as well" She joked.

Alan just gave her a soft shoulder pushed.

"I had never in my life of living had spoil that idiot of a good friend of mine.If anything it's him spoiling himself using my credit card," Alan respond honestly as he remembered that one time he almost had a heart attack looking at the notification he received from the bank that he or to be more specific, Elliott had spent five thousand dollars for buying food.JUST FOOD.

Unbelievable but it was understandable.

"But I bet you always have a soft spot for that so call idiot of yours,"

"I do because you know why?"

"Why?"

"Because he has been there right next to me since day one and I'm not gonna leave him just because of his stupidity.That idiotic side of him is what keep on pulling me back to him,"

Both of them stared at each other before bursting into a fit of laughter.

"You talk about him like he's your childhood lover," Emma said.

Alan smiled at Emma before looking back at the pathway "He's like a brother that I don't want but I need in my life,"

Emma looked at Alan and gave him a smiled that had never fail to make Alan's heart beats faster.

"Now where should we go my lady?" Alan asked while looking ahead of them to avoid Emma's eyes that he adores a lot.

"Ah I don't really know much the places here, so lead the way my not so shiny dj in his comfortable hoodie," Emma said, trying her best to hold back her laughed by her own statement.

Alan just shook his head and patted her head and quickly took a hold of her right hand and lead the way to set off their adventure for the night before going back to the hotel.
