SOPHIE'S POV
How fitting.
This weeks theme of songs is breakup songs!
Perfect timing, ABC.
At least I'm in some of the acts and only have to focus on the groups the guys are in.
There's no opener because Boyz II Men are coming.
I'm a backup dancer for them.
I'm also a backup dancer for Drew's group, Awake and a featured dancer for Mikey's group New Wave.
I watch as Drew, Devin, and Chance come in the studio.
"Hey guys!" I said trying not to let Drew ruin my mood.
"Your song as you know is Without You by David Guetta and Usher. It's an upbeat song with easy choreography." I said.
They all seemed relieved.
"But for the beginning of the song, you're going to be on platforms in the audience. It'll be dangerous to do the choreography on the platforms so just jump." I explained.
"Then the second chorus is when the backup dancers come out on the main stage and you go and join them." I said.
I did the choreography with them.
"You're just switching your feet." I said.
"Again." I said.
I used tape to make squares to give them a visual of what the platforms are going to be like.
"For your solo parts camera A will be on Devin because he starts it and will eventually switch around, get everyone's solo and then zoom out to get everyone." I explained.
They all look dead today.
"If y'all are confused about something please tell me. If not I'll see y'all tomorrow." I said dismissing them.
"Wait, Sophie. I actually wanted to talk." Drew said.
"I have nothing to say to you." I said.
"I broke up with Sharlize." He said.
"What do you want? A medal?" I asked.
"No. I want you. Which is kind of like a medal." He said.
"No, Drew." I said.
He grabbed me by my waist again.
He kissed me.
I couldn't help but kiss back.
I eventually pushed him off.
"No, Drew. You can't pull me in again and try to hurt me." I said.
"Just think about it. I'll be waiting. You're worth the wait." He said leaving a kiss on my neck.
