DREW'S POV
I'm in shock right now.

I didn't know Sophie's been through so much.

I mean I guess that's why she juuls.

Just like how people drink, she's trying to numb the pain.

"How long has Kyle lived out here?" I asked.

"About two years." She said.

"And he's?" I asked.

"Same age as you." She said.

"Nineteen?! That's crazy." I said.

"I know. So how about you?" She asked.

"What about me?" I asked.

"Your past." She said.

"Oh right. Well where I grew up in New York is kind of like the hood. I grew up in the Bronx in a not so nice neighborhood. My dad left when I was four." I said.

"I'm so sorry." She said.

"It's okay. My mom is still a single mom but my dad remarried. I have an older brother who's a chef and a sister who doesn't really talk about her job." I said.

"When'd you start singing?" She asked.

"When I'd go to church with my mom. I joined the youth choir. I'm guessing you sing too, Miss Broadway." I smiled.

"Yeah. I get it from my grandma. She used to put on Mamma Mia or Phantom Of The Opera and we'd sing to that." She said.

"How about your acting?" I asked.

"My brother's an actor so he taught me everything I know." She said.

"I watched some of his videos. He's a very creative person." I said.

"Thank you." She smiled.

She smiled.

She usually only smiles for pictures or if she's meeting someone for the first time.

I got her to smile.
