SOPHIE'S POV
I woke up to multiple pieces of paper being slid under my door.

They all had puns on them.

I took a piece of hotel paper and wrote back.

Give me twenty

I put on denim shorts and a white crop top.

I did my hair and makeup.

I answer the door to a smiling Drew.

"You like my puns?" He asked.

"They're definitely cheesy." I said.

"Not a giggle?" He pouted.

"I mean a pity laugh for all your time and effort." I said.

"You have your belly button pierced?" He asked.

"Yeah. Brother sister bonding. He got spider bites and I got this." I said.

"I like it." He said.

"Thank you." I said.

"I complimented you and not even a tiny smile!" He said.

"I'll get it back soon. Don't worry." I said.

"But I miss your smile." He pouted.

"It'll be back soon." I reassured him.

He came in the room.

I sat next to him on one of the beds.

"I just don't like seeing people unhappy, you know?" He sighed.

"It's not that I'm unhappy, it's just me not doing the act of smiling." I said.

"You usually smile when you're happy though." He said.

"How my mindset works is different than yours. I could be in a great place in my life and not smile. I'm happy when I'm with you, but I'm just not smiling." I explained.

"I make you happy?" He asked.

"Happier than a seagull with a french fry." I said.

"I'm in love with your accent." He said kissing me.

When he kissed me, I could feel myself smile.

"It's back." He smiled.
