DREW'S POV
I couldn't help it.Even though she was helpless, I couldn't help but kiss her.
"Soph I-I'm sorry." I said.
"No it's fine. I think I'm going to go home for a little. You're welcome to come with me." She said.
"I would love that." I smiled.
She drove us over back to Kyle's house.
"Kyle, I'm back but only for a little." She said.
He ran down the flight of stairs and hugged her.
"I'm going to beat that kid up tomorrow I swear." He said.
"It's fine. Drew made it all better." She said.
"I respect you, man." He said.
"Thank you so much." I said.
"But if you two wish to advance your relationship, I'm going to have to set some ground rules." He started.
"Only if Sophie wishes to." I said.
"Well before we start, in past relationships, Sophie's been burned before. I hope you won't be like that." He said.
"Of course not. If we date, she'll be my top priority." I said.
"So Soph, are you ready to put yourself back out there again?" Kyle asked her.
"Um I'm not sure." She said.
"It's been a couple of years. If he can move you, you can too. Hell, you can do better." He said.
"I think I am." She said.
"Great. So rule number one, you'll respect her. Rule nnumber two, you'll never look at another girl when you're with her. Rule number three, you'll make her feel safe. She's going to be away from me for a couple of weeks. She's depending on you guys to be her second family." He explained.
"Those are fair rules. Kyle, I can assure you that I'll never break any of them." I said.
"You guys have the okay from me." He said.
She smiled at me.
Dreams do come true, kids.
