Demitri POV
I am going to find them. I have to. This is what I was made for, finding people who don't want to be found. I entered the throne room. None of the other vampires from the throne room except for Heidi, knew about the teens. I would have to explain my absence and be officially assigned the job of hunting them.
"Your presence was missed during dinner Demitri, why is that?" Aro asked, curious as I knew he would be.
"A small complication. It seems the famed gate guard is not what it should be." I glared pointedly at the vampires assigned to the task.
"Two teenagers and a child escaped."
"Impossible!" Caius spoke this time, he always said how something couldn't be possible after it was told to him.
"The boy can run through walls, very handy escape tactic." I answered carefully.
"That's how they managed to escape the first time." One of the vampires who had accompanied me to the cottage unwisely put in.
"The first time?! Are you telling us that three mortals escaped the Volturi not once but twice? How did they accomplish it the second time?" Aro squawked. Marcus looked intrigued for once.
"They escaped by throwing a powder into the fireplace, then they were gone."
"Magic users!" Marcus exclaimed.
"They are very rare now. Especially in Europe. And you say they weren't adults?"
"What are magic users?" Alec asked.
"They are a rare people who are quite secretive. They can make themselves immortal through their experiments. And they are capable of destroying vampires with a single spell. They are dangerous, however, no vampire has ever encountered one below the age of 25." Marcus explained.
"How powerful would they be as vampires?" Aro asked, ever looking for ways to make the Volturi stronger.
"I don't know. No vampire has been able to change one." Marcus replied.
"Demitri, you must bring them both back. Under no circumstances is anyone to drink their blood." Aro announced. There, I was officially commissioned to hunt them.

Hermione POV
It's been two days since the vampire incident. Draco and I don't want to leave our safe spot. It's just too dangerous right now.
"Hermione?" Draco was really worried, I could tell from his voice.
"Maybe we should go to another continent. Make it harder for them to find us." I had an idea to go with it.
"We could hide with a werewolf pack. One of your mother's cousins is named Billy Black. Apparently he is one of the tribal leaders. His son turned down becoming alpha."
"A nice romp with a bunch of werewolves, doesn't sound too bad." Draco said with a smile.
"Let's go before the bloodsuckers find us." I agreed with him wholeheartedly.

Draco POV
I stepped into the fireplace. In under 10 seconds I would meet my first wolfpack. I was excited. I yelled "home of Billy Black!" As I threw my powder into the flames, remembering to bring a spare pot of powder if things didn't go as planned. I felt myself shooting past fireplaces, then slam into a wall. They had an electric fireplace of all things! Hermione arrived after two seconds and, started yelling for help. There was a commotion on the other side. The family wrenched the fireplace open.

Jacob POV
Who the heck are these people! How did they get in our electric fireplace!
"Who are you? Why are you here? What do you want?!" Leah screamed at them.
"My name is Draco Malfoy, and this is Hermione Granger. We're here because this is probably the safest place for us seeing as we are being hunted by vampires. We just need a place to stay that's all. Hermione can join your pack." Hermione looked surprised when he said this.
"Draco. I'm only a werewolf hybrid. Not a full wolf." She said.
It'll be safer for you. Hermione please, just trust me." He responded.
"Woah, woah," Billy interrupted. "Someone explain werewolf hybrid to us first."
"Well, we are magic users. This means that some of us go through creature transformations. Hermione and I went through ours earlier than expected. Hermione is a Werewolf/ Phoenix hybrid. I am a Veela/ Strigoi hybrid." Draco explained.
"Why are you being hunted by vampires?" I asked.
"Trip to Italy gone wrong, all we did was escape after someone, didn't use his head." Hermione answered, glaring at Draco.
"I will remind you that my powers are the reason we got away." He retorted.
"We're you by any chance in Volterra?" I asked.
"Yes why?"
"That means you escaped from the most powerful group of vampires. Did you happen to see a plain looking human there?"
"Yeah. Her boyfriend tried to kill us."
"How did you escape?"
"I used some Strigoi abilities. Strigoi are as fast and strong as vampires but, we don't drink blood and we aren't affected by sunlight."
"You don't sparkle?!" Leah asked surprised. Draco looked insulted and Hermione said in an indignant voice.
"No. He. Doesn't. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Why would anyone sparkle?"
"If the Cullens find out about them being here we might have problems. Well all of them except for Carlisle." Emily pointed out then continued.
"What if Bella finds out? Surely she won't be a problem."
"That might not be true Em. Bella tells her boyfriend everything. If she sees them there will be trouble." Jarred deadpanned.
"Sees who?" Bella asked from behind me. CRAP.
