So, here's what you missed on Unrequited...
Marley and Jake are finally an official item and that's great because the reader and Ryder are too. But, the reader has a lot of insecurities about dating one of the most popular and hottest guys in school. Like she's waiting for the other shoe to drop. And Kitty has been a surprisingly good friend, even coming to the reader's defense at the Sadie Hawkins dance when a bunch of popular girls were being mean to her. Plus, she's also brought Jake's brother Puck to the dance for some weird reason. It's all really bizarre. And that's what you missed on Unrequited!

The Sadie Hawkins dance was amazing!! Ryder is so sweet and romantic. I don't know how I'm lucky enough to be with him. I mean, I still love Marley. But, I feel like anytime you fall in love with someone, there's always gonna be a little part of you that will love them forever. It's just how it is. If you don't still have tiny feelings 15 years later, did you really love them at all?

So, yeah the feelings are there but I don't feel ruled by them anymore. I'm more consumed with how I feel about Ryder. It's all gonna be very new since I've never dated a boy before. Or anyone actually.

Marley decided to spend the weekend with me. We even got permission from her mom to let her stay Sunday night as well. We both agree to pop some kettle corn and watch the 9 o'clock local news. It's always outrageously funny. Especially when we turn the volume off and make up our own dialogue. Tonight, it wasn't.

I'm literally in the middle of shoving popcorn into my mouth when Hunter is displayed on camera walking out of a courthouse. Hunter, the ruthless captain of the Warblers. I wave my hand urgently at Marley, signaling her to hand me the remote. I swallow what I had in my mouth and take the remote from her.

Rewinding it and turning the volume up, we watch as he's swarmed with reporters. Steroid allegations? What is going on?! Marley looks at me, just as shocked and confused. We continue to watch as the announcer fills us in on what's happened.

The Warblers were tested for performance-enhancing drugs, and they were positive. Marley and me's mouths literally drop open, and some popcorn falls out of hers. Apparently, they've been stripped of the Sectionals win and now we get to go to Regionals.

Marley and I look at each other. Her face breaks into the biggest smile ever as she starts laughing excitedly. She gets up and starts jumping up and down in victory. I, on the other hand, am still shocked. It's hard to believe that Sebastian would take steroids to win a little competition that they could've won by themselves honestly.

"Aren't you excited?" Marley asks me happily as she sits back down, breathless.

I just stare at her as my mind races and my jaw is still slack. I squint my eyes and furrow my brows, trying to put it together in my head. "Yeah," I say weakly as I close my eyes.

"You don't seem like it," she points out.

I open my eyes back up as I breathe deeply. "I am," I say slowly, "but, I'm just confused about so many things."

"Well, maybe Finn will explain it all tomorrow at," she pauses for a second, "GLEE CLUB!!"

She starts back in on her laughing and excited dancing. I smile slightly. I am happy, but something is wrong about this.

The next day when we all gather in the choir room, everything is already moved back in. I sit down next to Ryder, who takes my hand in his and holds it in his lap while we wait for Finn. Everyone starts cheering and clapping as he writes "Regionals!!" on the board.

I clap slowly, still not being able to process all of this. I'm getting all these random emotions and I don't know where they're coming from. It feels like I'm having flashbacks to Sectionals when I tanked. Like it was a traumatic experience.
