✨Chapter 1:✨
"If I want to be fake, I can be fake... right?"Lisa was laying down on her bed when her cell phone suddenly rang, startling her. Who could possibly be calling her at this time in the morning? The sun wasn't even up yet.
She ignored the ringing, covering her ears with a small grunt of annoyance.
Then silence.
"Thank god—" And just when she thought it ended, another round of rings began leaving Lisa with no other choice than to answer the damn call.
The small headache that started forming not too long after she woke up worsened as every second passed. The lack of sleep definitely contributed to the headache but the ringing was mostly to blame.
"Hello? May I ask who this is?" Lisa asked without checking the caller ID. She didn't have to for she already knew who it was. Only one person dared to annoy her this early in the morning anyways.
"Ah, hello! Is this Lalisa Manoban?" A familiar voice spoke from the other line making Lisa role her eyes. No, it's Yang Hyun Suk.
". . . yes, why?" She asked. There was a short silence before the person on the other line spoke again. "This is your therapist."
"What is it?" Lisa asked, not in the slightest mood to hear what he had to say. Lisa never liked the idea of a therapist. She always thought it was funny how people think they know what's best for others but in reality, they don't know a single thing.
The only reason she attended the sessions was because her company forced her too after an incident the year before, but she didn't like to talk about it.
"I was calling to check up on you. You haven't visited me in more than a month. I have some co-workers I could transfer you too if you don't think I am helping much. You need help right away before anything gets worse--"
Lisa interrupted the guy, "Please speak to my manager, not me."
This was Lisa's favorite line to use since her therapist didn't actually have her manager's contact information. The lack of information made it easier for Lisa to avoid frequent visits.
Right after she hung up, Lisa fell back down on her bed with a chuckle escaping her plump lips. "I like the way I am so I don't understand why some people have a problem with that. If I want to be fake, I can be fake. . . right?" Lisa thought.
Suddenly, a loud thump was heard from across the room. Lisa turned her head just to see a groaning Chaeyoung on the floor beside her bed.
"Chimmy. . . stop eating my food or else you'll never grow taller." She heard Chaeyoung mumble. Lisa just chuckled at her room-mate who was clearly having a good dream about a specific someone.
A light knock was then heard on the door before it opened. "Good morning my little dumplings!"
Chaeyoung then opened her eyes wide before yelling, "Did someone say dumplings?!" She scanned the room before groaning and snuggling back up into her blankets.
"Sorry young one, no dumplings but you have your beautiful eonnie here," Jisoo said with a big grin. "Love you eonnie but food is food and food is good." Chaeyoung said while forcing herself out of bed.
