Chapter 10

Chapter 10:

"Alright, class is almost over so before I dismiss you all, I will be announcing the partners for this unit's project." The class groaned hearing their teacher's words.

"Why can't we choose our own partners?" Mingyu was the only one who dared to speak his mind to the teacher. The rest were too afraid to get scolded.

"Because I said so. Now, can I continue speaking?" The class was so quiet, you could hear a pin drop. "Good, so let's start."

Lisa was too tired to care so she just propped her head on her arm hoping that the teacher would forget she existed, even if it was for 30 seconds.

She would take any sleep she could get and besides, it's not like the topic was important.

Blah, blah, blah. Another partnered project.
Lisa never understood why the school even allowed partnered projects.

They barely have any time to sleep, what makes you think they would have time to meet up and actually use their brains on school work.

School work was the last thing on their minds and that's how their companies liked it to be.

"Eunji and Bom. . . Seulgi and Nara. . . %#£{¥€}£}%" The teacher's words became even more indistinguishable as Lisa's eyelids became heavier.

Unfortunately, right before Lisa fell into a deep sleep, two names were called together which made Lisa almost jump out of her seat.

"Lisa and Tzuyu."

Tzuyu who was across the room didn't dare make eye contact. She already used all her built up guts to confront Lisa through text the night before.

She needed just a little bit more time to build up her confidence again if she wanted to confront Lisa in person. Tzuyu wasn't even close to ready but she had no choice now that her teacher decided to partner her and Lisa together.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the classroom, Lisa was angry. Tzuyu was the last person she wanted to be partnered with.

"Today's Thursday so I will give you until Monday to turn it in. If they are not on my desk by the last bell on Monday, you will receive a zero. Use your time wisely, I know you are all trainees."

"Class dismissed." The teacher said right before the last bell of the day rang. Lisa, not wanting to do anything she would later regret, packed up as fast as she could and left.

Tzuyu stayed frozen in her seat as she watched Lisa storm out of the classroom. She gulped hard thinking of how the two would get the project done without killing each other.

"Hey, I'm going to use the restroom. Do what you need to do right now and I'll find you when I'm done." Jungkook said before throwing his backpack over his shoulder.

"Alright. I'll be at my locker." Tzuyu replied before starting to pack up. Jungkook then walked out leaving Tzuyu alone in the big classroom.

"You can do this! You are no wuss so you are going to go strait up to that Lalisa Manoban and show her who's boss!" Tzuyu gave herself a mini pep talk before walking out of the classroom with her head high.
